Riley's POV:
I sigh in relief as the bell goes off. Thank fuck. I quickly spin on my heel and head for the door before I'm hauled backwards.
"What the fuck! Get off me!" I screech louder than I probably should of. I turn and see the new boy dragging me around a corner before letting go, causing me to drop down on the floor.
I attempt to stand up while cursing at the boy for having the nerve to do such a thing. Once I'm steady I can see him eyeing me up which sends a shiver through my body.
"And you did that why!? I have class you asshole" I complain brushing myself off. I attempt to walk away but instead I'm pinned against the wall behind me. If I didn't feel uncomfortable before I do now.
I can feel his bitter breath on my neck as he leans in to kiss me. I struggle to get out of his grip and feel as though tears are going to start poring as his hands roam my chest. Once I assume there's no escape I stop trying and just purse my lips and shut my eyes tight letting the tears fall as his lips come into contact with mine.
Then the touch disappears as a voice screams from a few feet away...
"Get your hands off her!" The deep voice yells causing him to spring off me. I drop down to the ground still in tears as I watch the figure come closer.
"Who the fuck are you?" Alfie's cold voice questions. Once the figure is stood in front of him he folds his arms and stays looking as blankly as he could.
"That's not important, but what gives you the right to harass a girl on your first day?" He points his finger leaving Alfie speechless. He scoffs before walking off without another word.
Then the boy bends down and offers me a hand, I take it and thank him. But as I stare up at him I can't place who he is. He seems around my age with dark brown hair and dark eyes matching his black hoodie and navy blue jeans. He then walks off but I stop him by lightly placing my hand on his shoulder, quickly removing it awkwardly.
"Do I know you by any chance?" I say still trying to come up with a name for this boy.
"Probably not.." he shrugs pausing for a moment.
"well, we're in the same form and have been for like 6 years but your to popular to notice me sitting in the back seat" he laughs awkwardly scratching his head. I try join in but end up smiling weakly at him.
"Well thanks for that, your a life saver, and maybe people would notice you more if you joined in with the group" I say holding a steady posture.
"No problem and maybe... " was the last thing he said before he left me stood alone.
Who ever that boy was I hope he knows how grateful I am for his help.

James POV:
"No problem and maybe... " I say before turning away. My cheeks soon grow hot once I'm out of view and I throw my head back. God she was cute.
Not only was Riley like the Princess of the town but also the cutest by far and I've liked her ever since I could remember. We've grown up in the same class but of course we haven't ever had a conversation, that is, until now.
I cant help but hate the way the guys here try so hard to get a piece of her. Not caring about anything but her looks. It's disgusting how they pretend to love her when instead they just love to play around with her. When what really matters is what type of person she is on the inside, well at least that's why I like her.
I don't care about her curves and perfectly tanned skin, I mean ya she's pretty but I like her for her. Her sweet voice that I seem to hear everyday, her warm hearted persona, her ability to pass any test with flying colours. She's just incredible. But won't ever be mine.
I sigh and punch the wall as hard as I can, causing a bright purple bruise to form on my knuckles.
She won't ever be mine... I just need to accept that.
