a/n: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE BITCHES ❤️

"Why is the box so huge?" Avery asked as she sat by the Christmas tree and stared at the box with her name on it.

"You'll find out when you open it, open this one first." Paul said, shoving a gift in her hands.

She ripped the wrapping paper off finding the shoes she'd been wanting for a long time. She squealed and hugged her dad tightly.

"Thank you so much." Avery said, admiring the bright purple shoes in her hands.

She continued opening presents, anticipating the biggest gift for her. Overall she had got a new phone and cases for it, another pair of sage green shoes, new clothes, and a cross body purse she'd put on her Christmas list.

"Can I please open the big one now?" Avery begged, scooting closer to the box as Jordan, her brother, opened his last gift.

"As soon as Jordan opens his last gift you can." Paul said.

It seemed like it took forever for Jordan to open his gift when Paul finally let her attack the huge box.

Avery frantically ripped wrapping paper off of the box, ripping the cardboard open on top open only for her boyfriend to pop out of the box.

"Oh my- no- Vinnie!" Avery screamed, climbing into the box and hugging him tightly. She kissed his face and neck repeatedly all while squealing and mumbling "I love yous" over and over.

"Merry Christmas baby." Vinnie smiled, kissing her gently all while smiling at cutely she had reacted.

"Besides me being your Christmas gift, I got you a couple." Vinnie said.

"You didn't have too. You're the best Christmas gift ever." Avery said, planting a firm yet gentle kiss on his neck.

"Hush and open my gifts." Vinnie laughed, pulling her out of the bed and over to her mini Christmas tree in her room where he had placed the gifts.

Avery sat next to him on the floor, opening the first one which was at least a million pairs of fuzzy socks because he knew she loved them. Next was a blanket with her favorite pictures of them on it, and third the one that Vinnie had been shitting bricks about since he had it made.

She opened the gift to reveal a gold necklace with his name on it.

"Baby oh my gosh, I love it." Avery said softly, wiping away a tear that rolled down her cheek and kissing him for the millionth time that day.

They were interrupted by her step-mom yelling that Christmas dinner was done and to come downstairs.

"Put it on me and then we'll go eat." Avery said, smiling like a kid in a candy store as he clipped the necklace around her neck.

"This necklace is a promise that someday I'll buy you a ring for this finger right here." Vinnie said softly rubbing her left ring finger where a wedding ring would be placed.

"I like that promise." Avery said.

"I like you, now lets go eat. I'll race you down the stairs." Vinnie said, standing up from the floor and running off.

"Hey no fair, you got a head start no fair! You're disqualified." Avery yelled as she chased him down the stairs, giggling the whole way down.
