Adelaide's POV

Today I decided to stay in my bed I didn't feel like going to school, Stefan didn't care much which isn't a surprise and Damon was at Ric's doing God knows what. I laid in bed until my phone went off

Caroline: "where are you? We have cheer practice and I am not watching Klaus' sister do flips everywhere"

Me: "I'm staying home I'm sick" *fake coughs*

Caroline: "I've known you since we were in diapers and you have never been "sick" you can't leave me here" Caroline whines

Me: I'll be in tomorrow just stay with Elena or something

Caroline: "I love Elena with all my heart but I don't want to hear her whine about Stefan I'm annoyed enough as it is and we still haven't talked about that little present you got"

Me: "Care, just cause I tell you things doesn't mean you need to remember them"

Caroline: " Well I do and I'm curious. I mean does he like you? I mean of course he likes you but do you like him. Oh please like him, if you do you could send him my shopping basket and pretend it's yours. He'd buy it for you right? Of course he would. His money is your money and your money is our money"

Me: "Caroline stop. I already asked him to stop sending me gifts"

Caroline: "Why!? You've probably broken his little hybrid heart. This could've been beneficial for all of us. You date him and he doesn't kill us. I don't really see the problem. I mean he's definitely not ugly and you like him"

Me: " I have never admitted to that-"

Caroline: "doesn't matter I know you like him"

Me: "it wouldn't work either way. I forgot to move the car out of the drive way and Damon saw it. He went on a whole rant about how Klaus is the bad guy and somehow I'm gonna get pregnant"

Caroline: "Wait how did we go from gifts to pregnancy?"

Me: "I don't know but you know what I do know. That I shouldn't have to deal with accusations over small gifts"

Caroline: "you call that car small?"

Me: "fine big gifts"

Caroline: "How about we just make it a thing to ignore Damon"

Me: "Ok fine ignoring him"

Caroline: "Great now what does your brain tell you"

Me: "the rational part thinks that it will never be able to work since I will eventually die and he'll live forever. Not to mention I wanted to have kids"

Caroline: "Ok well you can turn later in life. And if you want kids you can adopt no surrogacy. I know how you feel about needles. Not to mention your ultimate secret weapon"

Me: "My vagina?"

Caroline: " Yes but also your magic. If anyone could go above and beyond to make some freaky spell to make someone fertile, it's you"

Me: " Yh but he's been dead for 1000 years"

Caroline: " and by the grace of God he managed to become a hybrid. We have seen the impossible become possible. And may I mention that in this whole conversation you never once denied liking him"
