Alaric/klaus' POV

"Ok pop quiz: the dagger and white ash are in the Salvatores possession correct" I say

"The dagger was used to kill Elijah, you'll find him in the basement of the Salvatore house" Katerina answers

"Ok well he needs to stay exactly where he is. The last thing I need to do is resurrect Elijah. God that guys a buzzkill"

"Don't forget you're still on the outs with your girlfriend Jenna"

"Right Elena's aunt for all the lies about Isobel. What else"

"That's it" Katerina says

I walk up to her lightly caressing her hair and she jumps in fear

"So jumpy" I say

I enjoy the fear in her eyes, the pure look of hopelessness knowing she can't escape without my permission. That everything she does is with my permission. The fact I have so much control over her. I just love when people have no control over me, it fills my empty heart with the feeling of happiness

"There's a girl Adelaide"

"What about her?" I ask

"She's a Martin. The Martin" Katerina says

"Well then, I'll have to pay her a visit. Make sure she's not a threat to me" I back away from Katerina finishing getting ready

Adelaide's POV

I walk up the Salvatore steps opening the door and walking in not bothering to knock. I'm greeted with the face of Damon. I got him to pack my things yesterday but I decided to sleep in my own house for one more night.

"Morning" I say

He looks at me suspiciously before speaking

"Morning"

I walk around the house moving towards the library to see if I can find Stefan while ignoring Damon who is quite obviously trailing behind me

"I thought you hated me" Damon says

"I don't hate you, I just don't like when you try to kill my friends. Other than that I don't care what you do" I say continuing to look for Stefan

"So if I were to kill almost everyone in this town apart from your friends-"

"I would salute you. I hate half the people in this town anyway. They're annoyingly nice" I turn to look at him

"See I think we could be great friends if you maybe stopped the vampire hate"

"I don't hate all vampires. I hate people in general. But I'll stop my little hate club if you manage to stop trying to murder people I care about"

"Deal" Damon says as he shakes my hand

"So where's Stefan, he asked me to be here and I'm not seeing him" I say

Damon directs me to his room and I go upstairs seeing his door wide open. I knock on the door causing him to halt his movements. He asks me to hold on while he grabs his bag and leads me downstairs. He talks to me for a while before just handing me Damon's credit card and telling me to tell him when I buy the hamster. He drives us both to school and we separate after we get out of the car.

When we separate I go straight to Alaric's class. I like to be the first to go in and the last to come out. Not because I like his class but because I don't want to be pushed when coming in or out. The class starts to fill up and Alaric comes in a bit later which is unusual for him. He asks what we're learning which is also very odd since Alaric is always on top of his classes. Strike one. I know that for a fact since he lets me plan some of them and then checks it to see if it's actually appropriate. A lot of them aren't. He starts writing on the board with his left hand which I take note off seeing as Alaric is right handed. Strike two
