Bonnie's POV
I've been scanning grimoires for days with Davina and none of us have found anything to bring her back. I'm starting to lose hope, but if I lose hope I lose her.
"I'm gonna get some food, want anything?" Davina asks
"No, I'm good" I say giving her a small smile
I wish I could get the Martins' grimoires but it's impossible the only one I found is completely blank, no words or anything. This whole situation makes me want to give up but I know if roles were reversed Mari would do everything she could to bring me back. I'll bring her back, it'll just take time.
"I'll bring you back I promise" I whisper hoping she can hear me on the other side
Adelaide's POV
I immediately recognise the name, the realisation alone giving me 1000 more questions
"Why was he being so rude?" I ask
"Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to" Sheila says
"Why won't you give me a clear explanation?"
"Forget about him Adelaide"
"How did he die? Why did he seem so harsh when I talked to him? Is that what happens when you spend too much time here?" I ask
"Forget about him Adelaide. I'll be back stay here" Sheila leaves before I can even respond and I'm left here alone again
"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes"
"Rose"
"In the ghostly flesh" she smiles
Rose and I talk for quite a while, her giving her opinion on everything that's been going on in mystic falls like it's some sort of tv show and me listening. As the conversation continues I try to sway it in the direction I want, which fails miserably
"I'm not answering that. If it's that important to you why don't you go ask him yourself?" Rose asks
"I've been told to stay put so I'm not allowed" rose gives me a look of sympathy before speaking
"Your better off not knowing anyway, this place isn't the happiest, you don't deserve to be here for the sake of your own sanity don't look into it. Some things aren't worth knowing"
"I thought that was for me to decide"
"You're 18 Adelaide, you need some sort of guidance. Do me a favour would you. Tell Damon I miss him" Rose smiles at before speeding away
"Great your still here, let's go" Sheila says popping up and scaring me.
She walks me back to the Mikaelson mansion leading me upstairs to my lifeless body.
"Why are we here?" I ask
"Because, you need to come back, you need to be with your body and your lifeline"
"My lifeline?"
"Klaus. Your bonded. If one of you dies the other acts as a lifeline, you can use him as your connection to the real world" Sheila says she moves around the room setting up the grimoire so I can see it
"Read this, connect with your other half" Sheila says stepping back
"It was lovely to be in your company Mari" she smiles, I smile back before I close my eyes and begin to chant
"reunire cum aliis medium. reunire cum aliis medium. reunire cum aliis medium" I start to feel faint and my vision starts to blur, but I see Rose standing behind Sheila with a smile on her face right before I pass out
