Adelaide's POV
"Rudy! Rudy come on!" A blonde girl shouts while coming out of the house
"It's to hot to make me come look for you"
Nik and I make our way to her front yard with Nik's arm being wrapped around my waist. I had to pretend to be his girlfriend because I'm supposedly less threatening. I did volunteer Stefan but they both refused.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he says with an american accent
I look to the ground to stop myself from laughing out loud.
"Can I help you" the girl says
"Yh um our car ran out of gas a couple miles back" Nik says, he pulls my waist closer to him before continuing to speak
"I feel like we've been walking forever, your is the first house we've come to. We were hoping to use your phone"
"Don't you have a cellphone" she says looking at me
"Yh, battery died" I say while pulling a phone out of my pocket
"Look, I promise we're not serial killers. I just want to use your phone" Nik says
You sound like one with that accent. And didn't you kill a girl yesterday?
"Sure" the girl says
"So, we can come in" Nik says
"She can" she says before looking at me with a suggestive smile
"Yeah no. I don't swing that way. Thank you though"
"I thought you country folk were supposed to be more trusting" Nik says returning back to his normal accent
"I'm from Florida"
"Well that explains it" he vamps speeds up to her and grabs her neck
"Now show me a little southern hospitality sweat pea" he says
"I bet you $100 that dog ran off to a house with air-conditioning" a dark skinned woman says as she turns around
"What's going on?" She asks
"Please don't be alarmed, i'm told Ray Sutton lives here" Nik says
"He's almost never here, he's on the road mostly" she says
"But I expect he makes it home, once a month"
The black woman looks at the blonde woman crying in Nik's grasp
"That's what I thought. Where is he now. If I have to make you tell me, it's going to be infinatley more painful for you" Nik says
She tries to run but when she opens the door Stefan's there, she shrieks and turns back around
"I love it when they run" Nik says with the blonde girl still in his grasp
"He's in Tulley. It's near the border. A bar called Southern Comfort, it's off highway 41" The black woman said in tears
"Thank you, my love. Now may my friend come in to play?"
"Yes" the blonde girl says in tears
"Kill this one quickly" Nik say while handing the blonde girl to Stefan
"Make that one suffer" He says while pointing to the other lady
"Damn, double homicide" I mutter
"We'll be in the car" He walks out of the house and I follow behind him. We sit in the car and wait for Stefan.
