"Tell me, Deku," Hisako demanded, watching with slight- great- glee as Izuku sobbed for his shattered legs. Eventually, she grew tired of the noise and no answer.
"Oh, stop it," Hisako whined, covering her shoulder wound with a piece of cloth. "Your legs were useless already, this is just another setback. Why does it even matter? It doesn't change much, does it?"
More than the pain, Izuku cried over her words. How could anybody say that with such a straight face? No, a face covered with joy.
Katsuki and Mina finally was able to get the nomu off, reducing it to nothing but dust. Mina shouted something among the lines of:
"I'm going to go help Denks and Ei- go get Izuku!"
Katsuki wasted no time, but he was set in place.
"Stay, Kacchan," Hisako commanded, holding out her hand. His body was still, her quirk working in another way that he was not used to. "Tell us, Deku, before your arms are next."
Izuku sobbed, but he managed to spit out in a strangled cry. He had given in. It was too much, "They're buried in the backyard, in a box."
Katsuki couldn't help but feel his anger boiling, "What the heck?! You burned an entire forest, kidnapped your brother, and brought the most powerful villain in history- to get a cup from years ago?!
"I thought- no, I knew- you were insane, but this is just on another level! What is wrong with you?! Is it because your family loved everything you did, supported you in everything you did, and treated you like the spoiled girl you are? Well, guess what, Hisako?
"Your parents can love you all you want, but I'll never love you, no matter what you do. What are you going to do with the cup when you don't have the other? And even if you had both, what are you going to do with them when I'm not marring you? Are you going to manipulate your way into things again?!"
Hisako grew silent, a small pout on her lips, "I... see."
"Daddy..." Hisako hesitated, and Katsuki's eyes widened at her tone. "Kill him."
She laughed, this time a laugh so horrible, so infernal, that nobody knew what to do afterwards, "If I can't have you, neither can he! Katsuki, you think I'm spoiled?? You're right! Hahahaha!
"I was spoiled to the core. I was loved, unlike him! Do you know why my parents don't even consider him a son? Because he's useless! Worthless! A burden! Nothing more than a parasite eating away our money, food, and love! I was the happiest when he went to a school field trip for a week when he was in middle school. Why?! Because he was gone! Gone! Gone!
"Nobody wants him! You only pity him, everyone does! Why doesn't anybody pity me?! I'm obviously the victim here. He took away everything, starting with my time to my happiness. And when someone is in the way, constantly making you sad and unhappy- isn't that toxic?
"The best thing to do then is to get rid of them. Go away from them! Make sure they never make you unhappy again! And yet, he still is here, taking away my happiness again and again!"
She was breathless by the end of the screaming, tears falling down her face. "Why can't anyone see that I'm the most hurt?"
Katsuki froze in place, and then a laugh escaped his lips. A laugh that dragged on for minutes. Hisashi paused before killing his son, to comfort his distressed daughter.
"You are the most hurt?! Say it again! It was so funny!" Katsuki's eyes clouded with tears. His breathing caught in his throat. "I-" he wheezed. "I just can't believe you were that egocentric about yourself!"
As Hisashi hugged his daughter, and while Katsuki was still frozen, the one and only Hanta Sero decided to barge in. He had made it over the fire wall- which was slowly dying thanks to Shoto- by his quirk, and silently he tried to pick the boy up.
Soon, they were gone, and relief washed over Katsuki. Hisako soon noticed it, and she screamed. She had apparently forgotten that her whole purpose for this was to get the location of the nuptial cups, but after Katsuki's speech, she had a new idea.
"We need to get-" she started to say, but she was cut off by her father.
"Hisako, it's getting late. The fire's dying, and the nomus are gone. Your friends already know that you're involved with villains, so we need to get out of here for now, honey."
Hisako's face turned bright red in anger, "No! I need to become a hero, not a villain! No! No! No! No!"
Hisashi hated seeing his daughter so stressed, but there was nothing he could do at the moment. So with a snap of his fingers, a portal appeared along with purple mist. They disappeared after they went through.
The pro heroes finally arrives, along with a few police officers. 'Great timing' Katsuki thought. The battle was already over, and the villains had gotten away along with Satan herself.
But there was no time to enjoy the semi-victory, he went rushing through the now-burned forest to find Izuku.
