The Boy

*~*Jack's P.O.V*~*

My body collides with the ground as the green eyed creature lunges for us. Unable to move do to confusion and fear I attempt to play dead, maybe the beast will wonder off.

I hear the monsters deep breaths beside me. My heart quickens with each breath it takes, I'm completely at the mercy of this creature.

Suddenly the thumping of footsteps approaches. But footsteps?! Could it be Pitch? I stay still.

"Toothless what do you got here- oh no oh no oh no! Please tell me you didn't kill them!" A voice cries.

Toothless? The creature has a name- yet out of all the names in the world he chose toothless?!

I'm still undecided on whether I should move or not.

"Toothless you check on the silver haired girl. Make sure she's okay. oh gosh." OH MY GOSH ELSA! During all the commotion I completely forgot about her..... that's it I'm getting up. I have to make sure she's okay!

"Wait!" I jump up and quickly reach for my staff which laid beside me. I point it at the creature and boy.

The boy jumps back, I still can't make out any of his physical features do to the present darkness but it's clearly a boy.

"Oh thank the gods your okay!" He sighs, "My n-" I cut him off.

I point my staff at the black creature with green eyes, "what.. is that?" I try to sound as calm as possible but menacing at the same time.

Out of the corner of my eye I can see Elsa's limp body sprawled across the ground. She is obviously unconscious, she must've hit her head. I begin to inch towards her but I keep my staff pointed at the beast.

"Oh this?" He pats "Toothless" on the head. I nod.

"This is my pet dragon Toothless. And I'm Hiccup." The dragon cocks it's head at me.

"He's quite harmless I assure you, he can just be playful and or protective at times. Once the sky went dark he lost sight of me and I guess became worried. I'm extremely sorry about you and the girl." He gives the dragon a shove and an evil eye, then he turns back to me.

I say nothing, because forgiving him at the moment isn't exactly the first thing on my mind.

I hurry to Elsa's side dropping my staff in the process. I honestly could care less about my powers.

I grab Elsa's wrist and feel for a pulse, luckily it's there. I grab her hand and hold it in mine, praying she would wake up soon.

Hiccup, Toothless, and I sit in silence for at least five minutes, still nothing. I brush Elsa's silver hair out of her face and kiss her softly on the forehead.

I grab my staff and turn towards Hiccup and his dragon. I look to the still dark sky and begin to think, why did it all the sudden go black in the middle of the day?!

Then a thought hits me, what if Pitch figured out our plan?!

I think back to when the darkness spread across the sky. I quickly run to a nearby tree and brush my fingers across the leaves, black sand covers my fingers. It is Pitch's doing.

To Elsa and I's benefit Hiccup offered to carry Elsa on Toothless's back. Once she is safely on his back we begin to walk.

Knowing Pitch can't be far behind.

A/N: WOOOOO Hiccup and Toothless are officially in the picture! And I am terribly sorry it's been taking so long to update, it's just with school coming to an end etc. I've been working non-stop :P
