*~*Jack's P.O.V*~*"Where have you been? What has gotten into you!!! Just leaving the palace without telling anybody! You scared me half to death!" My mother scolds as she paces back and forth.
I sit with my head down in a red velvet chair. I tap my foot slowly wishing I could just leave and hide in my room.
"Jack Frost answer me. Do not ignore your mother!" She yells.
"I'm sorry mother." I lie. I'm not sorry I'm actually quite proud of myself. I really enjoyed spending time with Elsa and Im sure Ill do it again.
"An apology doesn't answer the question, do you want to be room bound?" My mother scoffs, she is clutching her hands together trying to keep her anger in control. She's clutching them so tightly her knuckles have become a soft shade of white.
"What were you doing outside of the castle at such an early hour?" She asks calming herself down.
"I was-" my mother cuts me off. "You must tell me the truth Jack."
What? It's like she read my mind! How can I lie to her.... I did once a few moments ago and the guilt is swallowing me alive.
"I was meeting someone." I reply. I sigh preparing myself for the questions ahead.
"Someone, what's this persons name?" She asks raising an eyebrow.
Should I lie? I don't want to! I'm such an honest person most of the time.
"Mother may I be excused I have to go to the restroom."
My mother huffs angrily. "Yes fine, but this conversation isn't over." She says gliding out of the room.
A wave of relief washes over me and I hurry down the stone hallway. My footsteps echo through the halls making it sound as if I'm being followed.
I rush into the restroom and lock the door behind me. I glance around, a large bucket of water sits in the right corner of the room along with a smaller bucket of water in the left.
I slide down the wall and clutch my knees to my chest. All I can think about is Elsa. Her platinum hair and her icy blue eyes. Her heart melting giggle of hers. I smile as I picture her face.
After a few moments pretending to use the restroom I open the door and sprint to my room. Praying my mother won't catch me. She can't find out Ive been seeing a thief. And surely she won't find our that I fancy the thief.
I smile as I reach my quarters and I lock the door quickly behind me. I take of my cloak and lay it on my dresser then I flop onto my bed.
After a few precious moments a knock is heard on the door.
"Jack?" My mother chimes. Oh great! I frown deeply and walk to the door slowly. I open the door and am face to face with mother.
"Jack you are no longer allowed to go to the village. I'm sorry but you have to be disciplined, not to mention there is a wanted thief on the loose down there. Who knows how dangerous she can be?" She says holding up a wanted poster with Elsa's face plastered on it.
I gasp. "WHAT! You can't do that, that's the one part of the day I get to escape this horrible place." I growl.
"I've told you Jack, you've made a mistake and you have to be disciplined. I will let you know when your allowed to return to the village." My mother replies coldly as she walks away.
My face begins to heat up as an angry blush fills my cheeks. I slam the door and lock it once more.
"Don't worry Elsa..." I mumble. "I'll find a way to see you again."
I smile as I mumble this and fall onto my bed once more.
