*~*Jack's P.O.V*~*"HOW DARE YOU LIE TO YOUR MOTHER!! EVEN WORSE YOU SPENDING TIME WITH A THIEF! THAT IS AGAINST ALL RULES YOUNG MAN!" My mother scolds.
I sit on my bed as I conceal my anger. If only I could lash out and tell her everything. Everything about Elsa! But I can't, not now.
"Don't you have anything to say Jack!?" Mother asks.
"Yeah..."
"Then what, what is it you have to say?"
I smile and look my mother straight in the face. "I don't regret a thing."
My mothers face turns a dark shade of pink, anger obviously boiling inside her. She then whips her hand and smacks my face.
I gasp as I hit the floor with a thud. My vision speckled with black spots. I touch my face in an attempt to sooth the pain but it only makes it worse.
"Take off your shirt, I'm going to get the whip." My mother then stomps out of the room angrily.
THE WHIP!!! I haven't been whipped since I was seven or eight. And that was for spilling ink all over my mothers favorite book.
Now that I'm older I'm probably going to get twice the lashes! Ugh. I slowly slip off my shirt and vest and lay it on the bed. I'm now only in my pants, I feel as if I'm showing to much. It makes me uncomfortable.
"Jack!" A tiny voice yells. It certainly isn't my mother. It's to young sounding to high pitched. Footsteps echo through the halls and the door flies open. My mouth curves into a smile as Elsa stands before me.
She looks me up and down and quickly shuts the door. "Wh-why..." She stops to catch her breath. "-You have no shirt..."
I look down and realize she's right. I blush in embarrassment and quickly grab my shirt.
"My mother left to get the whip..... you have to leave Elsa! You'll get caught!!!" I say standing up and moving towards her.
"I'm not leaving you Jack, now pack your things." she smiles and turns towards me, "we are going on an adventure!"
I grab a sack, some clothes, my staff, and my journal. And sling the sack over my shoulder.
As Elsa and I where about to make a run for it my mother bursts into the room holding the whip. Her eyes grow wide as she spots Elsa and she smiles wickedly.
"Ah the thief! What perfect timing!" She then thrusts the whip towards Elsa, Elsa dives to the floor making a quick dodge.
"MOTHER STOP!" I yell and jump at her. I grab her arm but he pushes me away.
"No son of mine will fall for a thief!" She screams.
"I ALREADY HAVE!" I grab her again.
She looks at me, disappointment showing. She just stares at me and then looks at the ground.
"Then I'll just have to kill her." She mumbles and pushes me back, I stumble over a dresser.
Elsa looks frightened but determined. As my mother keeps throwing the whip at her she dodges and ducks.
I regain my balance and lunge at my mom knocking her off her feet. "ELSA RUN!" I yell. She shakes her head.
"I'm not leaving!" Elsa retorts. I scowl and push my mother down once more before grabbing Elsa's hand and begin to sprint down the hallway.
We burst through the exit to the palace and throw our cloak hoods over our heads. Elsa an I hurry to the village and attempt to blend in with the crowd.
"You think this will work?" Elsa asks.
"Hopefully." I whisper back. I reach for her hand and lace my fingers with hers, she smiles and looks away.
"Out of the way!" A voice yells. I turn around to see several guards rush the village.
I look to Elsa and we hurry out of the village.
