Changes from canon

-Ron and Hermione neither kissed nor got together after the war. 
-Harry and Ginny never got enough time to get together after the war.
-Neville and Luna started dating during his sixth and Luna's fifth year.
-I love books more so yes, draco did pass his wand to harry during final battle.
-most professors except snape survived.

The War was Over.

Voldemort was dead as were many others...

Harry Potter was a lonely young man sitting on his bed at his late godfather's ancestral home.

He had lost too much to the dark tosser who wrecked havoc in wizarding Britain over last two decades.

Starting with his parents, until after the battle of Hogwarts, he had seen death in more ways than any young man of his age is ought to.

Yesterday was his 18th birthday and the Weasley family had organised a small get together to forget the agony of the war, even if it was just momentarily. He had visited the burrow but couldn't make himself stay for more than it was necessary.

They were like a surrogate family for him. He grew up with their kids and now, one of them was no more. They all had permanent scars to prove the brutality of the war but a son of theirs had lost his life... and he knew it wasn't his fault but he couldn't help it. He felt guilty.
