The next morning, Hermione woke up to her wand alarm and sighed. She'd been thinking up till late last night and was still sleepy but she had classes today.

She blinked a couple of times and sighed. Waking up really was a chore especially now that the fear of death wasn't hanging above her head at all times.

She stumbled to her closet, collected her uniform and toiletries for the day and made her way towards the bathroom. She had barely opened her eyes and started brushing when the bathroom door was thrown open and an equally if not more sleepy Harry walked in carrying his towel and toothbrush. She blinked once. Twice.

After a confused stare out, she remembered everything. She now shared the bathroom with two boys. No girls anymore. Ugh. She scrunched up her nose at the notion of sharing with blokes. Maybe she should request professor McGonagall-

"Hermione! Oh! Sorry! Didn't know you were in... Wasn't locked. "

Spitting the foam and rinsing quickly, she looked back.

"Eh... Sorry Harry. Forgot it. "

Hermione registered his simple cotton shirt and pajama bottoms and smiled. He looked cute, with hair all mused over, sleepy eyes, bare feet and the clothes two sizes too big.

Harry too looked her up and down and sighed. It was so cold and his best friend was wearing just a pair of shorts and T-shirt. The slippers were cute but the legs, so long and bare-

Hermione noticed his eyes moving from her slippers upwards, she suddenly realized her lack of undergarments and abruptly turned around before he could see anything inappropriate.

"Go wait outside! I was in first!"

"Uh.. Yes I'll go. But please hurry. Malfoy will be up soon and if he got in before me, I'll be very late. "

"So? "

"So? "

Harry eyed her strangly as she huffed.

"So Harry, will you get out or stand there as I-"

" I'm going! I'm going! "

He raised his hands and rushed out shutting the door behind him.

Fifteen minutes later, just as she stepped outside the bathroom, both Harry and Malfoy were standing by the door. Before she could greet them, they rushed past her promptly shut the door. She sighed again and went to her room.

After packing her bag for the day, she left for a quick trip to the library before breakfast, leaving a note for Harry behind.

Just as she reached the second page of the book, someone's shadow loomed over her book. She raised her head to see a disgruntled Harry standing behind her.

" Harry! You aren't in great hall? "

She noticed his tie was badly crooked, so stood up to set it to rights.

"And honestly! After six years, someone would think you'd be an expert in tying the simple knot... "

"Come on Hermione! I went for breakfast, you still weren't there. It's almost over. Hurry up! I'm hungry. "

He snatched her bag with one hand and her wrist with other once she was done with the tie, dragging her towards library gates.

"Harry! The book! "

"Don't worry. Someone will keep it in place. "

Without wasting time, he dragged his best friend to breakfast table, nodding to the blond wizard who was already exiting the hall when they reached the doors.
