Wow, we're back again! The Newsies Pringles are back because a suggestion for a headcanon story turned into a headcanoning rampage. We're out of control, and we're lovely.

Camping

On a bright summer day, one of the newsies gets the idea to go camping, and to bring everyone along!

Everyone's on board, because they learned nothing from the sleepover about them all sleeping in the same place.

The only person who's not there is Les.

Sarah found out what happened at the sleepover (she had to wash the marker off his face), and now she won't let him go with the other boys again.

They leave in the evening, and go to a nice little place in the forest.

There are some cabins and stuff nearby, but the newsies can't afford those! All they can afford are some cheap tents!

When they arrive at their little campsite, the first thing on the agenda is putting up those tents.

No one knows how to do that.

Instructions did come along with the tents, but, unsurprisingly, most of the newsies don't have time for that.

They'd rather try to put the tents together by looking at the parts and trying to think which pieces would fit together.

Only Davey and Specs decide to look at the instructions.

It turns out it's actually very easy to put the tent together. At least when you know how to.

The two boys look up from the paper, and chaos has happened.

They're pretty sure Albert and Jack have broken one of the tents.

It ain't looking like it should at least.

The broken theory is confirmed when they untangle the tent (seriously, how could they think this was the way to do it?) and find a snapped rod.

Their plans of sharing the tents two and two are foiled.

Using the instructions they read, Specs and Davey put together the tents.

The others play some hide and seek in the forest.

It's not that fun. At all. The only hiding places are behind trees and stones.

When they get found, some choose to go "help" Specs and Davey.

Race does this, sees a pretty little metal thingy, and decides to keep it.

He shouldn't have done that.

Once all the tents are put up, all the newsies are called to the tent spot to divide themselves among the tents.

Race and Albert are the first to say that they're gonna share.

The others won't allow this. It would be chaos.

So Race insists that he gets to share with Spot instead. No one objects.

They pick a tent and go to put their sleeping bags in there.

As soon as Spot pulls down the zipper, the entire thing falls.

By this time, Race has forgotten that he has an important tiny piece of the tent in his pocket.

Another tent is cut from the plan, and now even more people have to share one tent.

They start by dividing themselves two and two. Then the tricky part of figuring out the math begins.
