After School, your longterm friend Himejima Gyomei was always there to assist when you're stumped. You cared about your grades and even though you failed here and there, he'd help you figure out.
During their time in the library, you began to have feelings for your friend. You didn't want to ruin the good relationship you have with him as a friend. It was worrisome, though you would find yourself in situations where you could just hold his hands. You remained focus so he wouldn't notice.
"Do you understand now?" He asked. The book he read was for his hands to learn from. The fact that the two of you learned differently but he was able to assist you was remarkable. He was definitely a genius. There was a lot of things he was able to do.
"Yeah. You are really great at teaching. It's remarkable." You said. It made him smile. The friendly giant addressed you next.
"I'm glad you don't find it frustrating. Some people don't have the patience." He mentioned. You were well aware. People would be so irritated with his teaching. He has patience but they don't. It frustrates you so much that you wanted to nearly slap them for bad mouthing him. He was so kind.
"My mom invited you over again! I don't know if your mom told you anything." You brought it up, blushing while saying so. He nodded his head.
"Yes, my mother mentioned it to me. I finished up what I needed to do to stay longer." He replied. "Getting behind on assignments isn't what I ever plan to do." You agreed. When you get behind, he'd finish but remember them. It was so helpful.
"Well, I will see you then! My dad is finally coming home after a long business trip, so she's making sure dinner is extra special!" You got up from your seat.
"SHHHH! GEEZ!" The librarian spoke. You jumped to your knees. The librarian wasn't fond of you at all because she felt as if you were another lousy student feeding off Gyomei's brain so you did the most to apologies. "Oh, Please. You don't need to keep doing that." She let loose a little.
"No, no. My apologies. I will keep it down..." you insisted and the woman chuckled. You turned back to Gyomei.
"Bye Bye.." you said and he heard you off.
"See you then, (y/n)." He said. He heard feet coming up and by the shoes and keys he knew.
"I can't say anything now, Miss. What if I ruin our friendship." He sighed deeply.
"Oh, Child. You are the sweetest boy ever. She seems fond of you. The look on her face brightens whenever she's here." The librarian reassured him. He turned his head and ran his hand through his hair.
"Really?" He said. 'mhm' she responded. "Her tone does change."
"Sometimes when she's going through the day, she's so sad not even her friends could cheer her up. I'm pretty sure you bring up her mood." The woman informed him. It made him smile. The ways he has made her happy by doing more than just tutoring. Their lives outside school is also fun, besides focusing on studies. Both of your parents were friends growing up and when the two of you were born, you both kicked it off great. "Now go on. Get ready for that Dinner." She's encourage him. He was definitely more confident than he was earlier.

Gyomei was given nice attire to wear. His mother helped picked out something since this is (y/n)'s father. His mother described it to Gyomei fairly well. "He's a man that has high standards, he's a kind man but sometimes his work gets to his head and he forgets his mannerism." She examined her rather large son and made sure he looked nice. It was cold out as well so not only did he look nice, he was ready for the weather.
They later arrived at the home and when coming in the air was definitely off. (Y/n) wasn't at the dinner table but they all got to introduce themselves to her father. He seemed tense and very stern in the face. Something his mother whispered to him about to prepare him emotionally about greeting.
"Oh, I remember you were so little. How do you even fit through doors?" The man laughed. It made everyone else laugh as well. (Y/n)'s mother was almost done with dinner so she'd request for Gyomei to fetch her. He memorized the house very well to get to (y/n)'s room eventually. He knocked first. There wasn't an answer but he was good at hearing. There was crying, he opened the door carefully. A sniffle.
"Himejima? Oh, gosh. You startled me..." you said. He had come in and close the door carefully.
"(Y/n), are you crying?" He asked. You didn't answer but ended up crying quietly again. He'd come to tend to you while you curled up on your bed. You fell into him crying. "What's the matter?" He asked calmly, holding you and resting his arm over your shoulder. You worked words out but continued to cry.
"My dad... still is... cheating.." you stared. You had reached for tissues that were already placed on your bed and wiped your face. "Still." You angrily said the last part and tended to your nose.
"(Y/n)..."
"It's been going on for awhile..." you continued. "Every time, he'd come back.. he'd be on the phone talking to.. some other.. woman.." Gyomei rubbed your back for comfort. "Saying a lot of things. He did it again. I heard him.. from the window." You cried slightly harder. You then took a deep breath since his comfort was helping you relax.
"This has been going on?" He'd ask. You nodded against his person. It made sense. When the librarian mentioned her being sad. She never really mentioned it to him. "Don't worry, (y/n). I am here for you." He'd give you a long hug. You heard your mother in the next room.
"Dinners Ready! C'mon (y/n! Himejima!" Your mother announced. She was loud but cheerful. Eventually, Gyomei felt your face and used the tissue to lightly rid the tears.
"We'll figure something out." He said. Your face began to heat up. He felt it. "Please, no more tears. Raise your head. You'll be okay. I'll make sure." He smiled at you which made it even hotter. He then became worried.
"Y-yes! You're right." You stood up and the two of you exited to tend to the dinner. This was the moment you took, to hold his hand.
