Kyojuro Rengoku x Reader|| Early Bird

Kyojuro has been trying to get you up and at it. You were always late to first period with toast in your mouth, skipping your moms breakfast. You looked to Kyojuro, the Early bird himself, to help you wake up. He would explain..

"There are so many things you end up missing when you're sleeping longer! The sunrise! A good breakfast!....." the rest became small echoes as you were drifting off to sleep in your first period. It wasn't that you had trouble sleeping, your body just refused to wake up to the 6 alarms you've had placed since the start of Senior Year. If you didn't get your attendance together, you were to not be able to exempt all of your exams. Not that you were to do awful on them, you just didn't want to deal with being late as you are already to an exam in the morning.

As well as enjoy graduating without stressing over 5 exams. Your parents and his grew up together and we close to where they had you, an only child, interact with the boys. Kyojuro and Senjuro. Senjuro was still a baby and all but as he grew up, you and him vibed off of being soft spoken and such. It was only Kyojuro that helped you get comfortable with being louder, and you were fairly certain he did that to Senjuro too. You had went over to their house, determined to fix your sleep. Your parents supported the idea cause so much food ends up being wasted. When you were telling Kyojuro about it he was disappointed.

"Your dreams aren't going to feed you, (y/n)!" He said as all of you were wrapped around the dinner table. Their father in the next room, announcing he'll eat later. Still his grumpy self. Kyojuro and Senjuro explained how he didn't want to show his grumpy behavior around you since he cares about your views on him under his roof. Though the alcohol was strong, you acted like they didn't tell you. S

"I know, gosh... and thanks, Senjuro! This was delicious." You complimented Senjuro. He was happy to see you liked it as well as Kyojuro.

"Yes! Delicious as always. You two rest. You both have school.I'll handle dishes!" Kyojuro offered. In that moment, Senjuro yawned and you caught it. "Oh! No! Senjuro started that yawn trai—" he broke into a yawn as well but got up to tend to the dishes. Senjuro had nodded and laughed a little. He walked to his room to rest but left a plate for his father for when he came out. Kyojuro offered his room for rest which you gladly took. He had the most comfortable pillow, his rest seemed excellent since he wake up early anyways. You always wanted it whenever you had sleepovers but now that you're older it feels like that hasn't changed. Even though it wasn't often, it was expected for Kyojuro to happily give it up. Before you knew it, fast asleep.

"(Y/n)!" A voice became clear as day and you woke up, the smell of breakfast hitting your nose. Coffee and so on, the birds, the small sight of the sun peaking the horizon. You turned to see Kyojuro's face in front of yours. Your eyes were shocked as if you were about to have your soul leave your body.  "Wow, it only took me to yell to wake you up! Those alarms do nothing for you." He laughed mentioning your phone alarm. When he backed up, you noticed he was in the same bed as you shirtless. Your face lit up from your chin to your head and turned away. He was built to kill but had the sweetest heart, it didn't add up. He slipped out of bed and got dressed before walking out to shower. You were flustered by what you saw. '

He must be stuck in a mindset where this was okay. '

It makes sense. '

'This was what usually happened. It just been awhile.'

'We were kids?!!' Your mind racing before getting up as well to go straight to the kitchen. Senjuro was up and seemed fine, he was even cooking up a warm breakfast. Their father at the table sipping coffee, he picked his head up to look over at you and nodded.
