Tengen Uzui x Reader|| Cat

"Nya~"

An orange cat with stripes made sound as it saw two people pass the alleyway. It was adorable and (y/n) was immediately hooked on it. Her boyfriend Tengen by her side, he didn't seem amused by it. She came to hold the cat as it gave affection in return.

"Awe! So cute! It's a stray..." It'd let (y/n) hold them like a baby and purred in her arms.

"Leave it, (y/n). You don't know what it has." He complained and came up to you with the cat.

"Oh, don't be so sour. It's adorable. Plus we don't have to pay for a cat, y'know? The apartment gets lonely wen you leave... or when I leave!" Both you and the cat gave him ... the eyes.

"No, (y/n)." He kept the answer but you carried the cat as he walked away. "(Y/n), fine. As long as you take care of him." He sounded like a parent. What a pushover.

"Me?! We both are! This is going to be our furr baby." You explained. Lightly giving the cat scratches as it purred still.

"I rather... have an actual baby. Than.... That. But I already said fine."he smiled back at you and the two of you continued your way home. Well, not before shopping for things for the little kitten. He was so frail that you scheduled an appointment in three days to get them better. You both later found out it was a boy. Nonetheless, you both decided to name him Bruno. Temporarily. When getting home, he had his own little house. A litter box in the guest bathroom, toys, a bed. It was so awesome. To you. Tengen wasn't really interacting with the new furr friend. At one point, you had to tend to your night classes. You had left Tengen with the cat. Bruno sat on the top of his playhouse and looked down at Tengen on the couch. He was watching a Mystery/Horror film but then was drawn to look back at Bruno. He was looking down at him which he overanalyzed.

"So you think you're just a god?" Tengen stood up. Was he really about to talk to this cat? He walked over to it in the corner of the room. He stared at Bruno but Bruno's eyes remained to look cute. When Tengen got close enough to even talk more, Bruno rolled into the platform and put his paws up to Tengen. It made his cheeks turn pink. It was adorable. He reached to then rub his stomach and felt Bruno purr against his hand. "Don't tell (y/n) we're cool...." He stared down at the cat,Bruno was loving the affection. Eventually, they shifted to the couch. Bruno was on his lap while the movie played through. The next thing on the movie channels we're still going since Tengen eventually passed out. His head leaned back, arms spread and Bruno resting on his lap.

The door unlocked and (y/n) announced her presence. She brought more groceries and things for Bruno. Probably Official name now. There wasn't a response so you continued to walk in, making sure to lock the door after yourself. You'd look to see Tengen on the couch sleeping peacefully. You heard a meow to your right, Bruno was right by your feet. You smiled.
"Aw! Look at you ~" you pet his head lightly and smiled. You decided to cook before the night was over since you knew Tengen only at lunch.

After almost an hour, food was ready. It was soup just because it was starting to get cold outside. Good ol' Chowder. Bruno stuck to his food once you filled his bowl. You even got him a collar that 'prevents fleas'. Said the box. The name, Bruno.
"I think we'd gonna have that name stick. You haven't complained about it." The cat responded with a meow mix eat and continued. You heard Tengen yawn and get up, the smell of food awakened him. He brushed through his hair and walked pass the couch to get to you. He picked you up and had your legs wrap around him. He started to kiss you passionately on the countertop.

"H-Hey! Not in front of Bruno." You turned your head but he started to kiss your neck. Tengen paused over what you said.

"Eh?! You think I care about what Bruno thinks?" You gasped. He raised his brow (what he has left that is)

"You said his name~! Awe! You're getting used to him. Tengen clicked his tongue and went to get a bowl of Chowder. You brushed your hand against his strong arms and leaned against him.

"C'mon it's not shameful."you nudged at him. He ate your food happily but went to the table. Bruno even followed and ran up against his ankle while he ate. "Did you guys have a moment while I was away?" You asked, noticing Bruno is as affectionate to Tengen as he was to you.

"My god. Let me eat in peace.! Hmph!" He demanded but you both began to nuzzle up against hun. He was flustered by it but the bond between you all began to grow as time pressed forward.

Bruno had gotten out of the apartment somehow and it happened in the morning. When Tengen came back from his morning classes, he noticed (y/n) balling her eyes out. Informing him that the cat had gotten out, it was also raining outside. The two of you put on raincoats and headed out looking for the cat. He could've gotten far due to the heavy rain but who knows, Bruno enjoyed baths yet this was cold weather. It was probably going to snow the next morning. It was then you noticed some trash along the sidewalk. Some bags and boxes that may have been carried by the wind, but when you went down the street while Tengen paused and looked around. He heard a quiet meow nearby and looked by his feet to see a soaking box. An orange tail peaked then slipped into the box, he kneeled and saw exactly who they were looking for.

"See, now what did you learn?" He smirked looking at Bruno. Scared. Thunder boomed from above. It was then that he had reached but Bruno refused. It was the storm that scared him. The rain came down harder. Tengen paused. He turned his hand over the other way, trust. Bruno hesitated but slowly crept out, it was then that it suddenly stopped, or Tengen thought, scooping up Bruno. An umbrella over him.

"See, I knew this umbrella would come in handy." You said, Tengen held Bruno and took the Umbrella since he was taller. You all walked home and came inside. A deep sigh. He was about to sit until you raised your voice."ALL CLOTHES! AT THE DOOR!" He paused and went over to do so. "Not on my couch." Complaining.

"Tch. Pervert." He laughed as you watched him strip. You did the same.

"You know this is how it goes." Bruno meowed happily and climbed his playhouse, licking his fur.

"See, they may not be an actual kid but did I have a little bit of a heart attack." Tengen chuckled and scooped you up. "Let's take a shower, Dear~...•
