Han cranked his wrench as far as it would go, face scrunching up. The Ghost was far from repaired, but with five people working in it, work was easy. Chewie growled and stuck his head out from the engine.
"That's cause you're using the wrong welder," Han said. "Use the triangle tip, not the round one." Chewie growled, going back into the engine.
"So," Sabine said, walking up beside Han. "This is what you do for a living?"
"Not really a living," Han said. "More like... Fun."
"Well, I do art," Sabine said. "For fun."
"Cool," Han mumbled, sticking a screwdriver in his mouth. Sabine sighed.
"You're not very good conversation," she said.
"I know," Han replied. "I've been told that multiple times."
"By...?" Sabine asked.
"Me," a girl said, walking up. "I'm Aspen, Han's apprentice."
"No you're not," Han sighed. "You're just here because I didn't want you blown up."
"Well, whatever the reason, Im here," she snapped back, grabbing a wrench and climbing into the engine.
"She's nice," Sabine said sarcastically.
"She was an Imperial cadet," Han mumbled. "I don't blame her."
"What happened?"
"Broke Chewie out. She doesn't like to see furry creatures getting beaten." Chewie growled agreement.
"So, Han, how long are we gonna be stuck here?" Aspen asked.
"Only until it's fixed," Han said. "Geez, make some fun out of this."
"How's it going?" Zeb asked, walking up.
"It's making progress," Han said. "It'd be better if CHEWIE WOULD USE THE RIGHT WELDING TIP!" Chewie growled something back angrily. Sabine rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Keep it up, I guess," Zeb said, walking back into the Ghost. Aspen laughed, ducking her now messy head out of the engine.
"What a charmer," she said sarcastically.
"Hey, he's better than Zeb," Sabine said, the two exchanging a smile. Han rolled his eyes and went back to work.
