Kanan was numb all over. Or he hurt so much he couldn't feel it. Either way, he wasn't going anywhere fast. The cold metal bonds that dug into his arms, wrists, chest and ankles didn't sting enough anymore. Every thought was slurred and incomplete, slipping lazily through his brain like worms. Yet he couldn't stay unconscious, the very thoughts that threatened to pull him under keeping him awake. Jedi Order...Ezra...Dark Side...ow. He flinched as the truth serum needle slid into his arm, in the same red, angry spot it had for the last week. He had found the best strategy for avoiding that was not talking at all and just spacing out. He knew that Vader was there. He knew that he was being asked questions. He just didn't care. He lay there and stared at Vader's helmeted face, trying to imagine what was under there. After a couple questions, though, Vader backed up. Now Kanan paid attention.
"He is too far gone to say anything," Vader said. "Kill him and we will find one of the other insurgents to try and get information out of."-------------
Uh oh... This isn't good.
I've got big ideas for this book >:)
See you soon.
