AN: TAKE TWO!!!
This is a REWRITE of my Super Paper Gems story, this time it also includes the topic of Nastasia and Count Bleck/Blumiere's gems.
The plot changes slightly but is overall the same.
I WILL leave the original up, but this is the finished/newest version. PLUS, I put extra at the ending. :3
There will be singing sequences in this! There will be spots that indicate when the music should be played and stopped. Some of the lyrics might also be changed around in the text to make more sense.

It has been almost four whole months since that disaster. The disaster that was now known as the Ultimate Show to everyone. Not many people knew what happened besides the fact that almost everyone and everything was almost destroyed. And if it wasn't for the four heroes of the prophecy of light, everything would have been!
Not everything about it was great, though. Some people didn't make it through... Namely, Timpani and Blumiere. They vanished along with the Chaos Heart to who knows where. And the Mario brothers didn't want that sacrifice to go to waste.
In the center of the town Flipside, on top of Flipside Tower, the return pipe appeared. It surfaced from the ground and two people hopped out! One in red and the other in green. Both of them started for the elevator.
"Um, why are we here again, Mario?" Luigi asked, "I thought that you said we shouldn't come back after everything that happened..."
"I know I did!" Mario exclaimed, "But, there's no harm in checking up on things, right?"
Luigi chuckled to himself as they went inside the elevator.
"Hehe, I guess not!" Luigi replied, "Everyone else seems to be recovering quickly as well!"
They both laughed to themselves as the elevator door closed.
-Start Music At Beginning-
Mario: Here we are in the future!
Luigi: Here we are in the future and it's bright!
The doors to the elevator opened and Luigi stepped out.
Luigi: Nothing to fear!
No one to fight!
Both of the brothers started down the street, looking at all of the reconstruction that has occurred over the past few months.
Mario: I can't believe we've come so far!
Happily ever after here we are!
Luigi and Mario continued down the streets until they reached the in-between area of Flipside leading to Flopside. Luigi twirled around in the light streaming through the stained glass windows.
Luigi: Once upon a time, I thought I'd always be in my alter's shadow...
Answering for his crimes I thought I'd always be in an endless battle...
Luigi activated his Thunderhand with a smile.
Luigi: 'Til I began to hone~!
A power of my own~!
That I could feel growing stronger every day!
Mario scooped Luigi into a hug.
