"wheres mirabel?"

-y/ns pov-

pepa ran to me and pulled me up, she hugged me.

"oh!! i assume you guys are dating?" pepa said still hugging me.

camilo nodded and so did i, can't wait to brag about this later to angel.

i was gonna spend a few more nights at mirabels house so i needed to go back home and get extra clothes.

"i'm hoooome!" i said opening the door.

i told gabby and angel all about what had happened the past few dates, skipping the part where the disaster dinner went on.

"YOU'RE DATING CAMILO?!" uncle leo said popping out of his room.

"WHOS DATING CAMILO?" tia ava said.

"y/n!" gabby said.

they were talking about i turned to angel.

"anyways, angel? what have you been up too?" i said and packed a few things in my satchel.

"i've been hanging out with luisa if that's what you wanna hear, having friends is tiring. maybe i should just got back to talking with the dead." he said, still sour as always.

though he's soften up, i caught luisa and him putting unicorn horns on the donkeys once.

"you? gabby?" i said.

"nothing really, just helping people." she said shrugging.

then our house grew all of these exotic and colorful plants, "holy fuc- fiddle sticks?" angel said hesitating.

after a while i made my way to casa madrigal and opened the door to see mirabel and their abuela fighting.

i stayed quiet and mirabel looked at me,

"luisa will never be strong.. isabela won't be perfect enough! y/n hasn't done anything to harm this family, we're ALL just trying to help!" she said and the walls cracked.

"bruno left because you only saw the WORST in him!" she yelled

i looked over to isabel and she bloomed with colors and put her hands together.

"BRUNO DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THIS FAMILY!" her abuela screamed.

"he loves this family.. i LOVE this family! WE ALL LOVE THIS FAMILY." she said with tears in her eyes.

"you're the one that doesn't care." she said and the floor cracked.

"THE MIRACLE IS DYING, BECAUSE OF YOU!" mirabel snapped and the floor cracked into two.

"no! no! no!" pepa said and the cracks made its way to the candle.

mirabel ran towards the candle, "MIRABEL!" i yelled and ran after her.

"casita! get me up there!" she said and the rails fell down.

i climbed up with her, camilo and isabela attempted to help but their gifts stopped mid-way.

"Y/N! MIRABEL!" isabel and camilo said at the same time as they fell.

mirabel was on the roof, the ladder, or rail, shook making me almost slip.

"MIRABEL! Y/N! LEAVE IT!" mirabels mom yelled.

i made my way up onto the roof and mirabel stood on her tippy toes to get the candle.

animals flooded out of antonio's room and mirabels mom yelled, "MIRABEL! Y/N! WE HAVE TO GET OUT!!"

"MIRABEL! GET THE CANDLE AND LETS GO!" i said grabbing her hand.

she held the candle and casitas stairs came out giving us a not as rough fall.

the roof came crashing down and furniture came to cover mirabel and i.

there was nothing left.

ash covered mirabel and i.

"mirabel?! are you okay?" i said looking at her and the candles flame went out.

there was a pause and she just looked at me, "mirabel..?"

"no.." she whispered and hugged me, she was crying.

the windows that guarded us fell. and she let go.

"MIRABEL!" her mom yelled and came.

"are you two hurt..?" she said and mirabel shook her head.

everything was blurry for a few minutes, "Y/N?!" camilo came rushing.

"OH MY GOD Y/N" camilo said pulling me up and hugging me.

i looked around and my tia ava came by running.

camilo let go and tia ava squeezed me, "y/n? are you hurt? y/n?!" she said

"i'm okay" i said and turned around to get mirabel but she was gone.

"where's mirabel?"
