She kept her eyes strictly on his thights as she was afraid of what she might see in his eyes if she looked up. She was afraid that he might mock her or find out about her crush. No, if he liked someone else she couldn't interfere. That thought made her heart squeze painfully and her breathing became erratic as she tried to get past the pain. She really needed to stop thinking about it. She knew that she could never have him, why did she even hope? She could hear him shake his head and sigh. "Well, I may have all that, but I don't know how she'd react to my feelings for her," he said quietly. She looked up to him and than back to his thights quickly. There was so much longing in his eyes that it made her want to curl up and die. Why couldn't he feel like that for her?

"Professor, sometimes you just have to grab the Cairos by it's ponytail, otherwise the chance will slip away. Everyone is afraid of rejection, but if you don't try, you'll never know, and you'll always ask yourself why you didn't do it."

Yeah, smooth. She could tell herself the same thing. And she didn't do it on her own. Not now when she didn't even have a chance. She would have done it by the end of the day when he recovered from the potion's influence... probably. But she would have plucked up enough courage to actually tell him. But now her chances were zill and she couldn't do it. She couldn't interfere.
