As he was quiet, she realized that he also knew about the legend of Cairos, the Greek god of Choices and Decisions and Luck. This fact only proved her point that he was a genious. She was shaken out of her gloomy thoughts by his hand as it grasped one of hers and squeezed it. She looked up to him in surprise and watched in surprise as he stood up, even though his knees were clearly wobbly. She wanted to yell at him to sit back down when he slid down in front of her on his knees and took her face into his hands.
What was he doing? flew through her head as she watched him in surprise. She had never seen his face so closely before, though. It was only inches away from hers and it was coming closer and closer. Her heart started beating a hundred miles an hour as she closed her eyes and let him kiss her. It was only a chaste kiss, but it still made her body melt and her skin tingle where he had cupped her face into his palms. She couldn't think straight. There were stars dancing in front of her eyes, following by a small flame shooting straight to her heart and then back to her lips. Almost unconsciously her hands sneaked around his neck as she pulled herself closer to him.
This was heaven. She never imagined a kiss could be so wonderful, so soul-searing. It was just perfect and she could almost see the doors to heaven open and the holy light shine down on her. She never wanted it to end. She pulled away first though and stared up at him with a shocked expression on her face, although it soon dawned on her mushy brains that he actually took her advice about taking a chance to tell the girl he liked that he liked her and she couldn't believe that it was her. The realization made her face light up like a thousant lanterns and she gave him a radiant smile.
