Severus walked down to the dungeons. Stupid Gryffindors, he thought, always getting into trouble. He shook his head and crossed his arms as he walked into his office and put some papers down that Albus wanted him to look at. He bit his lip and shook his head as he thought about Elfa Lupin. You're not supposed to have thoughts like that, so stop it. She's a student and a Lupin after all, you can't have feelings for her.
But she's so smart and beautiful, he thought. But she's a part of a family that I hate, extended or not. He shook his head; he'd been mulling this over in his head all summer and he couldn't get over the fact the way he thought of her all the time. And wished her by his side. He'd never wanted this before, not since... well that was a long time ago. And look how that turned out. I mean my daughter hates me what does that say. He shook his head and walked out of the office again and heard someone in the potions lab. He smirked slightly. Probably some kid trying to perfect something. He walked in and stopped when he saw who it was. He wasn't expecting it and it had taken him by surprise. She was breathtaking, he thought.
