Part Twenty Two: Hidde's Idea

After the search that led to nothing last week, we decided that we needed something fun to do this weekend. Besides I didn't feel like searching the city for someone who doesn't want to be found. It was become a waste of time.

Instead of that we were currently at the beach, and with we I mean Neo, Kevan and his cousin Alex, oh I forgot about Hidde. Well he's not physically here but on Neo's screen.

It was safe to say that we were bored, and when you're bored you start doing stupid things. So that's the moment where Hidde suggested we'd do something he saw on tv. It was two guys with inflatable swimming bands that runned towards each other and then bumped into each other.

As long as I didn't have to do it, I'm okay with it.

"Okay, Kevan and Zack go first. Wait Neo, move the damn screen I can't see shit" the low voice of Hidde says.

I glance at Neo who snickers before adjusting the laptop screen. "Just open your eyes creep, that should help".

"So rude" Hidde says and puts his hand on his heart. "Now get moving along, I got three hours before I really need to sleep. Got practice tomorrow".

Hidde pulls off a smug facial expression and I see how he puts his legs on his desk.

"Then just go to bed already instead of letting us do stupid things" I mutter annoyed.

Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with these guys but bumping into them while wearing an inflatable swimming band, that's just asking for trouble. Besides I heard that Grey was going to the beach as well, and that guy does not need to know what I do in my free time.

There are some loud complaining noises coming from Neo's screen. Hidde is now looking into the camera, slight pouting.

"Guys come on. I saw this once on Laughing at Home Videos, well actually it's called Lachen om Home Video's, but still. It's harmless" Hidde continues. "I shall not stop unless I get my way".

He snickers like an villain.

Does this guy not know that we can just off Neo's laptop instead of going through all the trouble of looking like fools on the beach.

"Fine" Kevan mutters as he puts the swimming band around his waist. "Zack, I've been Skyping a lot with this guy to know that he will keep bugging us until he gets his way".

I get up and brush the sand off my clothes. "Fine, but only once Dutch guy".

Hidee puts his thumbs up before sitting up right to enjoy the show.

Why do I hate this guy already? Oh yeah I remember, since he is forcing Kevan and me to run into each other while wearing a swimming band.

"1, 2, 3, go!" Hidde yells.

I shake my head and walk away from Kevan to create some distance between us, why do I get the bad feeling that we end up in the hospital?

"Count again Hidde" Kevan yells.

There's a loud screeching noise coming from the laptop. "1, 2, 3, run beeches" Hidde shouts.

I roll my eyes before walking up to Kevan, I don't want to break something.

Kevan on the other hand is running towards me at full speed. Before I know it he passes me by. Sadly for me he had his arms spread so I fall backwards with a loud thud.

"Fudge" I manage to say before I hit the warm sand as the air is sucked out of my body. "Hidde, if I ever meet you then I will kill you".
