Not to be Trusted

A day hasn't passed after Victorious confirms the truth how Tyrant is indeed Tirpitz from another timeline, Victorious quietly sits by the port. The breezes sweeps her hair to the back, but her gaze stares far beyond the base's shore. She remains uneasy, unsure how to react after what she witnessed. Back then, she attempted to calm down Tyrant who rejects her kindness out of overwhelming grief and desire for revenge. Tyrant couldn't smile and her expression twitching in pain also stings Victorious' heart.

"How can I save her? It's still Tirpitz, but she's hurting herself....." Victorious deeply exhales

When Victorious tries to pursuade Tyrant into listening to reason, it only agitates Tyrant further and causes her emotional distress. Tyrant doesn't resent Victorious, but the sight of her stirs emotions leading her to an outburst of rage. During the encounter, Victorious at least confirms Tyrant still recognizes her and even throw her to avoid being damaged by Roon's salvo.

"Tirpitz is way too angry at Bismarck too listen. I never thought future Bismarck killing future me drove her insane"

Victorious mildly punches her cheeks, unable to curve a smile for herself. Her mood sinks whenever she keeps remembering how Tyrant is drastically less emotionally stable than the current Tirpitz. It doesn't end with Tyrant calming down, just her leaving more furious at Bismarck believing Victorious' appearance is supposed to be the bait.

"Why are you so down, Victorious?" Prince of Wales is standing right behind her
"......!" Victorious jolts
"You're so cheerful that this is the first time I've seen you so depressed" Prince of Wales is visibly concerned
"W-Wales? It's nothing......serious....."
"Is it a secret that you can't tell me?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I tell you....."
"Try me"

Prince of Wales confidently replies then sits beside Victorious, who remains uneasy. The image of Tyrant briefly reverting into the Tirpitz still suffering from loneliness twists pain in Victorious' heart. She squeezes her hands together, and Prince of Wales instantly noticed the unusual tension from the usually cheerful aircraft carrier.

"Apparently.....Tyrant is another version of Tirpitz who went insane because Bismarck murdered me some time in the future and now she's out for revenge against Iron Blood" Victorious inhales before speaking nonstop
"......." Prince of Wales blinks several times
"I know it sounds crazy, but it's actually true. Tyrant is Tirpitz who's only drowning in her own anger...."
"So there's two Tirpitz now?" Prince of Wales scratches her head
"Something like that. I want to find her.....but I know she won't show up for a while"

Out of frustration and impatience, Victorious lifts up both arms and flails wildly. She doesn't know where to start or what to do, and Prince of Wales isn't certain what advice she could give either.

"Even if she's also Tirpitz, you shouldn't go after her recklessly. Tyrant is working with the Sirens and killed shipgirls before"
"Tyrant didn't want to hurt me back then. She refused to fight back when I showed up and saved me. That's why I'm sure Tirpitz's still there, and I can reason with her!" Victorious grabs Prince of Wales' shoulders
"Don't be too impulsive. There's no guarantee she won't kill you. From what I've seen, she's with the Sirens and doing their bidding"
"I can't stop worrying....."
"None of this would have happened if my sister didn't bring you along. What was she thinking?"
"She said Bismarck wanted to talk to me.....but she was surprised to see me for some reason. Then after the whole thing, I saw Prinz Eugen angry at her and telling her not to do it ever again. I feel bad for eavesdropping because they looked so serious....."

Victorious is slightly skeptical of having Prince of Wales learn it while the latter frowns the moment Victorious mentions Prinz Eugen. Even if Prince of Wales isn't present during the whole event, someone like her would notice the slightest oddity.
