Kirstie came over after Scott left to take the triplets to school on the day of their 12th birthday and Mitch told Kirstie that he's pregnant. Also the Triplets have their birthday party after school. But nobody else except Scott, the triplets and now Kirstie knows that Mitch is pregnant.

Kirstie's POV

I decided to surprise Mitch with a visit before the triplet's party and see if they needed help setting up. I drove over there and rushed up to the porch, knocking on the door. I heard footsteps inside, "Hang on Kirstie. I'm just chilling in a t-shirt and boxers." I smiled, "I've seen you naked. Just open the door before I find your spare key." "Okay, I'll unlock it but don't open it till I say." I rolled my eyes, "Okay, fine."

I heard the door unlock and waited to hear Mitch. Instead I heard him rush up the stairs, "Okay, come on in." I opened the door, "Where'd you go?" Mitch yelled from his room, "I'll be down in a minute. Make yourself comfy." I smiled, "Whatever." I slipped off my shoes and hung up my purse, grabbing my phone.

After 5 minutes of standing in the foyer, Mitch emerged from his room wearing clothes that were two sizes too big, "What are you wearing? Baggy sweatshirt and sweatpants? You know you live in Los Angeles, right?" Mitch giggled, "It's laundry day. These are Scott's clothes. Let's sit down." Mitch was acting werid and moving very slowly. I finally got fed up with the weridness and asked him, "What's the matter with you. You're acting very strange." He paused, "What do you mean. I'm fine."

I sneered at him, "You're not fine. Your acting like your hiding something." He smiled, "I'm not hiding anything. It's just a very overwhelming day. The triplets are turning 12." I shook my head, "I know you well enough that you wouldn't dress like this if you were planning a party. Now what's up?"

Mitch sighed and stood up, "Fine, you're right. I can't hide anything from you." He walked closer to me as I braced myself for a punch or yelling. Finally Mitch lifted his sweater and showed me his stomach saying, "I'm pregnant, again." I opened my eyes and stared at his stomach for a good 3 minutes.

Mitch leaned down to be eye-level with me, " Kirstie? Are you okay?" I sat back with my hands over my mouth, "Why didn't you tell me? How could you keep this from me?" Mitch smiled, putting his shirt down, "I was scared. I really didn't know until after Kaitlyn died." I smiled and put my hands on his stomach, " You're huge! How far along are you?" Mitch paused, "Uh, 17 weeks tomorrow."

I was shell-shocked, "You're four months and you're already this huge? You weren't this big with Kaitlyn. *gasp* Is it multiples?" Mitch's smile was even larger than normal, "Yeah, it's triplets, again." I started to cry, "Are you serious? Another set of triplets?"

Mitch sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me, "Don't cry. I was about as surprised as you are. I didn't believe the doctor when she said there were three babies until she showed me the ultrasound." I gasped, "Let me see the ultrasound!" Mitch struggled to get up as I giggled at him, "Alright, hold on. I have to go grab them off the fridge."

He walked into the kitchen as I sat on the couch in shock, "Here's the most recent pictures." Mitch sat down and pointed to each blurb on the picture, "Here's Baby A, Baby B, and Baby C. Three more babies to add to our family." I smiled and wiped my tears, "I'm so happy for you. I know Kaitlyn would be happy too."

Mitch started to cry, "I know she would be happy to know Scott and I are moving on. We want to start our family up again." I hugged Mitch, "I'm proud of you, I know when my Papi died I cried everyday until after my nephew Jared was born. It's like new life after a loss."

Mitch smiled, "That's a good way to think about it. I can't wait till these three get here. I really want to meet them." I giggled, "So do you need help setting up at the park?" Mitch paused looking at the party bags, "Uh yeah. Scott's gonna pick up the kids from school and bring them to the park for their party. They dressed up for it before they left."
