Mitch's POV Continued
"Let's get to the emergency room, I can't take this pain anymore." Scott nodded, "Do you want me to grab you a pillow to sit on?" I paused, "Sure, it might help."
Scott grabbed a pillow off my bed and threw it off the banister, "Alright, I can carry you bridal style, or you arm over my shoulder and my arm behind your back."
I smiled, "Bridal style would be nice at this point, but we'll just do the shoulder/back thing." Scott agreed, "Just take it easy, it's not like they're waiting for us with red velvet carpets."
I glared at him as he lifted my butt off the bed, "Ugh! Oh my legs!" I wrapped my arms around his neck as Scott paused, "Are you gonna be okay to walk?" I sighed, "I'm fine, I just have to get my legs moving. I may cry, but let's go."
As Scott and I moved out of the bedroom, the pain in my legs became almost unbearable by the time we made it the door, "I have to stop. I have to stop." I took a deep breath, "Are your legs hurting that much?" I sighed, holding my belly, "Yeah. If we take our time, I can make it to the car when these three are due." Scott rolled his eyes.
I started walking and Scott stopped me, "Mitch, do we need to call an ambulance?" "No! I'm fine, let's just get to the car please." Scott sighed and we continued to the stairs. "Alright one step at a time."
Every step down seemed to take longer than the last one. By the time I got to the bottom I had to sit down, "I just can't move, I don't know what's going on?" Scott sighed, "Do you want me to call an ambulance?" Scott was very demanding about it.
I shook my head, "No, we're down here anyway. Come on, help fatty up." Scott giggled, "You're not fat. It's baby weight." I smiled, trying to hold back laughter.
The triplets woke up and started kicking, I whinced trying to hide the pain from Scott, "What's wrong, now?" "Nothing, just my back again." I was running out of places to have pain, when it was all over my body.
We made it to the car after 20 minutes starting from our room. "Shit! I forgot the pillow inside. Let me get you in the car and I'll run and get it." I smiled, Scott was my soldier through thick and thin.
He helped me get up into van and pulled my seatbelt on for me. He kissed my cheek, "I'll be right back." "Okay." Once I saw Scott go in the house, I yelled at my belly, "Stop kicking me! You're the reason I'm in pain!"
I saw the front door open and interlocked my hands on top of my belly. Scott got in the car, "Are you okay?" I put my hand on his thigh, "I'm fine, I promise." Scott smiled and sighed in relief, "That makes me feel better."

Once we made it to the emergency room, Scott parked in front of the doors. "Do you need a wheelchair?" I sighed, "You might wanna grab one just for safety." Scott agreed, "I'll be right back."
Scott got out of the car and walked in the doors to grab a wheelchair. I sat in the car while the triplets continued to kick the hell out of me. I squeezed my eyes shut as they kicked and kicked. I still had them shut and didn't realize Scott had come back with the chair.
He ripped my door open, "Oh my god, Mitch!" I opened my eyes, "What?" Scott glared at me, "Mitch? You had your eyes shut when I came back. Something was really hurting you." I sighed, "Alright, the triplets are kicking me."
"What!? And you didn't bother to tell me?" I groaned, "Don't start with me! I'm in enough pain already! Help me out of the car." Scott grunted and pulled me out of the car, setting me in the wheelchair, "Fine. I just don't understand why you didn't tell me?"
