Kaitlyn has been in her coma for three and a half weeks so far. Mitch and Scott have decided to leave the hospital for one night, to get some rest.

BTW A/N This Chapter is all about Kaitlyn starting from the first day of school. Please don't cry. I know "No promises."

Kaitlyn's POV

I woke up on the first day of school. I heard daddy over the intercom, "Aphroditie, Marcus, Richard. Time to wake up, it's your first day of school." Ditie came over the speaker, "What about Kaitlyn?" "School doesn't start till 8:30 for her. Hurry up breakfast will be ready in 15 minutes." I laid in bed staring at my Pentatonix poster on my ceiling.

'What should I wear today? I need to look amazing, make a good first impression. Thats what daddy always says.' I looked through my drawers.

I found a torquoise and silver lined top with a black cardigan. I matched it with skinny jeans and a pair of black Y-3 sneakers that dad bought for me.

After I heard the front door open, I saw dad, papa and aunt kirstie walk in after letting Mark, Ricky and Aphroditie off to school. I called to dad and stepped down the stairscase. I lost my footing and fell; Dad caught me halfway, but I don't remember anything after that.

I woke up to paramedics all around me, "Hi sweetie, what's your name?" I tried to answer them, but my brain wasn't working, I heard my dad, but I couldn't see him "Her name is Kaitlyn." Is that my name? What happened?

I was put on this rolling bed, and taken into a huge car. My dad was sitting right next to me, "Sweetheart your gonna be okay." All I could say was, 'Where's papa?' He answered, "He's behind us with aunt Kirstie." I have an aunt? I passed out again.

I was sitting next to him, looking at myself, "What's going on, she keeps passing out." Daddy asked. The man in a uniform answered, "That happens when someone hits their head, the brain is exhausted and shuts down." I reached up and touched the crown of my head, 'Ow!'

My dad tried to keep me awake. Nothing was happening. I tried to touch his shoulder but my hand went right through. I felt cold. I looked around at the world through this small window. Everything was gray and bleek.

We made it to this big building. The bed I was laying on, was wheeled away to this big room with a giant machine. Dad tried to follow me but people were keeping him out, "I'm her father, why can't I go in there?" "Sir please stay out here."

I ended up on the other side of the door, I tried to ask somebody a question 'What's happening. Someone please answer me.' Nobody paid any attention to me. What was going on? Why can't anybody hear me?

The machine was moving over my head. I wasn't doing anything, I laid there motionless. I saw Papa standing outside the window, holding dad.

I was moved into a room, with Dad holding my hand. I could feel his warmth on my fingers. 'Daddy, I'm right here. Don't cry' "Kaitlyn, please wake up. Let me see your blue eyes, one more time." I looked at my body and tried to open my eyes like a dream, nothing happened.

I sat in the corner, crying, wondering what was going on. I saw a lady standing over me, "Child, why are you so scared?" I quickly stood up, 'You can see me? Why am I here?'

She grabbed my hands, "You're in a place called the in-between. A place not exactly life and not exactly death." I looked around, 'How do I get out of here? I want to hug my daddy.' She knelt down in front of me, "Child, there are many ways out of here. Some are quick and some take time."
