I knew my actions had consequences. The other humans leaving?

That was all because of me but here I am, going after this new group of humans because I'm unpredictable and getting tired of playing nice.

I come to a hard stop when one of the strollers in our horde snapped its head towards the buildings that we were watching from afar.

With a groan the zombie speaks out to us, communicating greatly. "there."

I let my head snap towards the one building he was talking about, it was abandoned and I've been inside there once or twice.

I can clearly remember there was a group of survivors that had taken over the building and made it difficult for anything or anybody to get in when I had first turned.

But that was before the other zombies managed to get in and invaded it, killing them all.

My eyes dance over the entrance, wondering what they possibly were looking for inside.

Food?

Guns?

No.

Medicine.

The building wasn't a hospital. More of a clinic and they had cabinets stocked up with medicine that haven't been touched in years.

The so-called medicine that the humans needed badly to survive if one of their own got badly sick.

"Looking?" Zombie boy asks, wondering what the humans possibly could've wanted and were looking for as his eyes glanced over the trail of zombie bodies the humans have left behind, stab wounds in their skulls.

Smart.

Untraceable.

They used knives instead of being recklessly stupid like the humans that were here before them.

They were scared I figured, in hiding and trying to stay undetectable as possible while they roamed the lost cities.

"Medicine..." I groan out, my eyes watching as Lenoir fell into step beside me.

She lets her eyes fall on the bodies of the now-dead zombies and looks up in a rapid move.

"Theirr... in hiding."

I nod, "Have.. been."

It was true.

It has been four days since I've first seen the humans.
