The rest of break had flew by, and if Lavender wasn't at home, she was in the bookstore with Mr. Ripley and Victoria. Lavender chewed at her nails as she sorted through different payments. Her stress headache only seemed to get worse.

Lavender's phone started ringing bringing her out of her bubble of frustration. Her eyes widen as she saw 'Mama' flashing across the screen. Immediately answering the call.

"Mama! I hope you had a good Christmas, I d-didn't call just like you asked." Lavender said as tears filled her eyes.

She missed them so much, Lavender hadn't heard from her father in such a long time.

"About time." Her mother mumbled through the phone.

Lavender had heard her. She understood that Mama didn't like her being clingy, but her disorder made her very attached.

"I was wondering if you could send me some money, you didn't get me anything for Christmas-" Her Mama was cut off.

"But I did Mama, I made you and dad something. You told me not to come, I'm sorry Mama I didn't know." Lavender bit her lip to keep from crying.

"Well could you send me some cash? Your father and I are working and this is a very stressful time for us. You should know we are disappointed that you can't even understand that." Her mother shot out into the phone in an angry and stressed voice.

Liquid coated Lavender's burning cheeks.

"M-Mama! I will send it. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I care I promise! Is there something wrong with dad? I wanna know Mama, p-please!" Lavender sobbed into the phone.

She had really disappointed her Mama. Lavender scratched at the skin of her forearm.

"Send it, your father and I would be very happy." Her mama said with little care.

"I will, I p-promise! I love you Mama, please tell me if something is going on!" Her rambling was cut off by her mama hanging up.

Her breaths were jagged and sliced through the air around her. Lavender began looking for bunny. The small item of comfort wasn't on her bed, like it always was. Panic began to set in, where was her bunny? Her comfort was nowhere to be found. It scared her.

More tears streamed down her hot cheeks. She frantically searched for it. Her bedding was throw across the room as she made a mess looking.

Lavender's chest was constricted as if she couldn't get oxygen to her lungs. Her fingers clutched her heart and felt the rapid heartbeat. She needed to calm down.

"Please!" She called out as if someone would answer.

She dropped to her knees harshly and looked under her bed. Since it was too dark, she grabbed her phone and used it's light.

The bunny had fallen off of her bed and made its way under the bed. Once Lavender saw the bunny, she grabbed it and jumped back in her bed. When would it be over?

What would she do? She didn't have enough money as is to make ends meet.

"What am I going to do? Everyone keeps leaving- I can't t-take it- I can't." Lavender sobbed, her heart was breaking in her small chest. The violent sobs racked over her body as the panic attack she was facing subsided.

At times it would feel as if her little white bunny was all Lavender had left. Perhaps the sole reason of her panicked state. It was a stable source of comfort, Lavender didn't have much that gave her promised comfort.

With her bunny pressed as close to her body as possible, Lavender pulled herself into fetal position. It made her feel comforted, it made her feel warm. As she rocked herself slowly, eventually, her soft snores would fill the air of the room
