Vincent had held Lavender the entire time in his arms.

Moving so he was resting on his back, he felt her move from over him. He watched as Lavender's hand moved to her rose petal colored lips. Her anxious habit was back. The skin around Lavenders fingers was already ripped. Vincent took hold of her small hand and placed a warm kiss to it. Holding back her hand so it didn't succumb to her anxiety.

She snuggled closer to Vincent's warm body. Her body was cold, it felt numb after everything that had happened. Though being in her professors caring touch was enough to warm the icy mood.

Vincent thought his heart was going to explode in the moment she cuddled closer to him. How could some be so utterly perfect, he thought. Vincent held onto Lavender with all the strength he had. She had to take care of herself for far too long. His anger grew at the thought of her being alone.

Never again.

Vincent felt her shivering again. After pulling the blanket up to her neck, he realized that she was crying. Vincent knew it was because of the emotional day and stress she had encountered that morning. He hoisted her in a upright position. His feet were touching the ground as Lavender sat on his lap.

Her cheeks blazed over with a flower like medium. Embarrassed to be crying so much. Lavender wanted to be strong for him. She wiped her tears quickly. Vincent stood to grab some clothes for Lavender.

"Do you want these back?" Lavender asked gesturing to the boxers Vincent had gave her to sleep in.

"No. I don't want those back, keep them. For now stay still for me pretty girl." Vincent said as he rolled the leg of some sweatpants up until the foot part. He held Lavender's leg and guided her foot through the pants. Lavender's heart felt so overwhelmed by the comfort Vincent provided her.

"Give me your other foot, you're doing so good. Such a sweet girl for me. Only for me, hmm?" Vincent voice was soothing as he pulled sweatpants up her legs. Lavender held his shirt upwards so Vincent could tie the string.

"I'm y-yours?" Her voice wavered when Vincent's thumbs rubbed the front of her belly.

"Yes, my beautiful girl." He continued.

"Vincent.." Lavender thought about what her heart truly wanted. In that moment it was just him.

"Hmm?" Vincent said softly.

Since Vincent was still kneeling it didn't take long for Lavender to jump in his warm embrace. Lavender didn't like Vincent, she loved him.

It wasn't just her innocent nature, he had done so much for her that it would be impossible not to love him. Vincent had shown her nothing but love as well.

"I love you. I love you so much! Please,
p-please don't leave me. I know it's soon, but I love you. Only you." Lavender's body shook as she hugged him tightly, because she wasn't letting him go. Vincent had fallen in love with Lavender the night when she decided they should be friends. He had been waiting until she was ready. And now she was.

Lifting Lavender up, while standing he placed her feet on the floor again.

"Look at me, baby. I have loved you for so long, there isn't a person in this world who couldn't love you. Give me the chance to love you the way I want to, and let me give you the care you need. I promise with my life it will be the best decision you ever make."

Vincent's eyes did not leave hers as more tears escaped from the heavenly angel in front of him.

"I love you-" Lavender cried as Vincent wrapped his big arms around her. Lavender's heart bursted to life making her body feel warm with undying love.
