Liam and I stayed at the dock for hours just talking, being together, being happy. I felt nearly invincible with him. Sadly, the night eventually had to end. Liam and I got on his motorcycle. The day felt as if it had ended too short. Liam stops in front of my house. It doesn't seem as if anyone is home, which is odd. We stop at the porch, the same place Louis and I did.
"I'm bringing you to school tomorrow. I really don't care what Louis says or does," Liam says.
"But he's your best friend," I tell him.
"But you're my girlfriend, He's going to have to deal with that," Liam states.
It makes me smile, "Is it bad that I really want to kiss you right now?" I ask.
"Not at all," He smirks and kisses me gently. Everything seemed so perfect with him. Like, it was meant to happen.
He pulls away, "Go to prom with me."
"Prom is like... three months away," I say.
"So? I don't want to miss my opportunity like I did with the New Years Party." He tells me.
I smile, "Okay."
Liam plants a final kiss on my lips before I head inside.

Louis was a lot more understanding than anticipated. He said he had seen it coming. I kind of felt sorry for him, but eventually he started dating someone when he entered college. Liam and him rekindled their friendship. Emma went on to be a photographer. Zayn started a career in singing. Liam and I went to a few of his concerts.Emma and Zayn are still dating, and Liam told me Zayn wants to propose soon. I'm really happy for those two. Niall now makes the best rum you can find. Demi now supports him fully as his wife. They decided it would be best if Demi were a stay at home mother, since Niall is making enough to support the two of them. Ashley and Harry are great too. Ashley is now a teacher, and Harry is becoming a pediatrician. They're still happily together as well. I guess thats what happens in these small towns. You stick around with your high school sweetheart. As for Liam and I? We're currently packing boxes into our new shared apartment, Liam made into a university by the skin of his teeth to become an artist, and boy, is he good. All of our decorations and paintings in the apartment are by him. He's really excelled, and just graduated. His paintings and artwork sell really well. And fast. I still have school for two more years to become a geneticist. The apartment Liam and I found is only a few blocks away from my school. As I put a painting up in the livingroom, I ask Liam, "How's it look?"
"Perfect," He says, and smiles.
I start getting down the ladder, but Liam picks me up and spins me around, "LIAM!" I scream.
"CLAIRE!" He mimics me.
I stick my tongue out at him, as he laughs.
"I want to show you something," he says.
"Okay, what is it?" I ask.
Liam lifts his shirt up to reveal a tattoo on his rib-cage reading "Forever and Always" with three dates, One being today.
"What's each date for?" I ask.
He gets on one knee, "The first, the day we met," He reaches for his pocket and grabs a small velvet box, "The second, the day I ask you this question... Claire Elizabeth Peters... Will you marry me?"
I'm in complete and utter shock. On the verge of tears all I can manage to do is nod. Liam slides the ring on my left finger and I kiss him. This is quite possibly the best kiss I've ever had. When we pull away, I ask, "What's the third date?"
"The date we say I do," He smiles
"I love you," I say.
"I love you more," He states, planting another kiss on my lips.
