That day, I eat lunch with Louis. I think its very sweet of Louis to stay with me through this. Even if it's for a reason that isn't that valid. I kind of feel bad for not telling him the truth, but judging by the injuries he has, I wouldn't want to tell him about everything thats going on.

"Do you ever wanna get out sometime?" he asks.

"Kind of," I say.

"How about Friday?" He inquires.

I look at him, a bit shocked, I have tutoring with Liam that day... "Sure," I say and smile wide. I'll just move my tutoring session with Liam to Saturday.

"Great," He says, smiling from ear to ear, "I'll pick you up around three?"

"Three sounds good," I tell him.

Louis walks me to my final class, woodshop. I truly mourn going to this class. Not just because it wasn't my choice, but also because he is in that class. Louis kisses my head before I go in, "I'll pick you up here, okay?" He says.

"Okay," I tell him and smile.

I walk into class, and take my seat next to Liam.

"Hello, Love," Liam states.

"Liam," I tell him sternly.

"Why so tight?" He asks, as if nothing was wrong.

"I think you know why," I spit.

Liam rolls his eyes, and faces the front of the classroom.

"I'm going to have to reschedule our tutoring session Friday," I tell him.

"Why?" he asks me.

"I've got a date with Louis," I say.

His eyes widen, and he states, " I told you to stay away from him Claire."

"Well you don't own me."

The rest of the class were both silent. No words are exchanged. It's kind of painful. I don't know why it hurts me when he's mad or sad. Maybe I'm just an empathetic person. But, honestly...? It hurts most when he's upset... Once the bell rongs, Liam is the first one out the class. I slowly gather my things, wishing to avoid him. When I walk out, Louis is waiting where he said he would.

"Hey babe," He says and hugs me.

I hug Louis, tightly.

"Are you alright?" He asks me.

I nod, "Just tired."

"Let's get you home, then." He takes my hand in the way Liam did the night I went to his house...

Honestly, I need to forget Liam. He has Demi now. He's happy. He just led me on like he would do any other girl. Louis is actually sweet, compassionate, loving, but nothing feels the same with him. He's the only one to care, but... I don't know.

The ride home to my house with Louis is the same, yet different. I can't put my finger on how, though.

"I'm picking you up tomorrow," Louis states oce he gets to my house.

"Don't you have The Wolves to ride with?" I ask.

"We're not exactly getting along at the moment, Claire. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to find that out."

"I don't want to be an inconvenience," I say.

"You won't be, Love," He tells me and smiles, then kisses my head once more, "Ill pick you up at eight."

"Awesome," I tell him.

"Goodbye, love," he says as I smile.

" Bye, Lou," And he's off.

I walk inside my house and smell dinner cooking. I smile, and walk in the kitchen. I see my mother cooking away.

"Hey Mom," I say and hug her.

"Hey, Sweetie. Do you mind getting the corn out for me?" I grab the corn and she puts it in the soup.

"That boy you tutor, Liam? He called the house today." My mom states. The sound of Liam's name captures my attention.

"What'd he say?" I ask.

"Well, since you couldn't tutor him Friday, he asked if he could come over Saturday and you could tutor him then, I said yes of course, as long as you're okay with it." She tells me.

"Yeah that's perfectly fine" I tell her.

"He's not that bad of a boy you know," She says.

I chuckle, "Sure."

"I invited him over for dinner," She states. My eyes widen to what seems like the size of gulf balls.

"Why?" I ask her.

"Claire, he was very polite. Give the boy a chace."

"He has a girlfriend, Mom," I tell her, kind of aggervated, "And I have a date Friday."

"Liam told me, but never said who it was." She says.

"His name is Louis," I say.

"Louis, hm?" She asks.

I nod.

"You should get ready," My mom says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because were having a guest over and its rude to be dressed too casually when guests are over" She says and gives me a 'do it or I'll kill you' look. I sigh, and head upstairs to get ready. I get out of the clothes I went to school in, and grab a red sweater, a white shirt, and some dark jeans. I head to the shower and freshen up. When I get out, I dry my hair and reapply my makeup.

I help my mom finish the meal, and the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it!" Avarie jumps up from watching Sesame Street, and answers the door.

"Hey, Avarie," I hear Liam's voice say. Part of me melts because he finally learne her name, but another sinks, reminding me of earlier today.

Liam walks into the kitchen and says," Something smells good. Thank you for inviting me, Mrs. Peters."

"My pleasure, really, Liam. You're always over, but we don't know much about you," She tells him, "Lets eat!"

We all sit at the table and my mo starts asking Liam countless questions, she starts with, "Do you play any sports?"

"I box," Lim smiles.

"Really?" she asks.

"Regional champion," He says. I sigh.

My mom "clears her throat". I roll my eyes.

"Congratulations," She tells him with a warm smile.

"Thank you. ma'am," he states.

Oh gosh, this night is going to last forever ...
