Buster and Jimmy were riding on a helicopter. This was the first time Buster ever rode on a helicopter and it's a thrilling experience. However, if he weren't so scared that he might fall off, he would've enjoyed it more. Jimmy smiled at Buster with glee to see the koala experiencing this new thing he'd never done before.
"Have you ever been in a helicopter, Moon?!" Jimmy shouted with a chuckle.
Buster glanced up at Jimmy while shaking his head. "No! First time!"
Jimmy chuckled heartily. "Once you get famous and have all the money in the world, you'll have your own helicopter to ride on!"
Buster noticed the helicopter landing as both Jimmy and Buster hopped off of it. Buster's legs were a little shaky from the ride but it was a worthy experience. Jimmy and Buster made their way into the building while the make-up team was approaching them. The koala was a little freaked out from people powdering his face, coughing up the powder.
Jimmy seemed perfectly calm and still.
Buster strode up next to Jimmy while watching the horse anchorwoman talk about everything about Buster and Jimmy and how well they've been working together. The tension rose as he remembered Suki's warning. Why was Suki warning him about Jimmy?
"Alright, Moon, follow my lead," Jimmy whispered to Buster.
"For our guests today we have, Jimmy Crystal and Buster Moon!!!"
Jimmy and Buster emerged from backstage while Buster looked out into the crowd cheering and flashing lights to take pictures of both him and Jimmy. His heart pounded harder against his chest as everything around him was muffled. He didn't understand what's going on as he felt large paws guiding him to sit between the horse and Jimmy Crystal.
He couldn't hear anything anyone was saying until he looked at the horse anchorwoman, who moved her lips but no sounds or words were formed.
"What?" Buster uttered a question.
In an instant, he heard an audience uproar with laughter at Buster's meek question.
The horse anchorwoman giggled. "I was asking how are you doing, Mr. Moon."
Buster plastered a smile that only his friends and family knew was fake but to the rest of the world, it seemed genuine. "Oh, I'm doing good. I'm doing good."
"It's his first interview," Jimmy spoke with a chuckle.
Buster nodded his head in confirmation.
"Well, we're glad to have you here, Mr. Moon," the horse anchorwoman stated happily.
Buster smiled and nodded his head while trying to keep his focus on the anchorwoman and not the audience out there.
He feared that they might have seen behind the mask just as easily as his own friends and family.
"So, Clay Calloway, we heard that he's going to be in the show," the horse anchorwoman replied excitedly.
"Oh yes, definitely!" Jimmy confirmed it with a charismatic attitude.
"Just to bring us back to nostalgia back before Clay went underground, can one of you sing us one of Clay's songs?" The horse requested.
Jimmy was about to talk but then an idea occurred to him. "Yeah, Moon, go on and sing."
