Sing 2(My Version)

Chapter Fifteen:

Everyone was packing up for the day while they talked about why Porscha would lie to them about getting into the theater and what her true intentions were. They don't hate her but they want to know what's going on in her head when she did that. Eddie was idle in the theater, his frown stuck on his face.

Eddie was too deep into thought. He wondered if Porscha was going to come back to them. Maybe she could explain everything to them instead of just leaving them with an apology. Maybe her situation was like Johnny's where Johnny had to lie and keep being in the theater a secret from his father during the talent show but Jimmy was supervising the show...so, wouldn't he know eventually that his daughter was in it? That's what he feared of what might happen between her and her father's encounter.

He felt a tap on his shoulder as Eddie glanced up to see Johnny gazing at him in concern.

"Are you okay?" Johnny asked Eddie.

Eddie nodded his head. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine."

Johnny arched a brow. "Are you sure?"

Eddie bit his lips while staring at the set. "Well...I...I don't know how to react. I mean, I could understand that Porscha wanted to do this but her father didn't want her to and she did it out of desperation. I don't know."

Johnny frowned a little. "Honestly, I'm not too upset. I mean...yeah, she just risked the entire theater group since Jimmy told Buster to not let Porscha in the show but...I lied to you guys during the talent show about being in the gang and I lied to my dad about where I was."

"But the difference was that your father didn't own a theater."

"Yeah...that's true."

"Yo, Johnny."

Johnny turned to see Chadwick peering behind them.

"Wanna get some burgers and fries with us?" Chadwick offered. "Nooshy wants to join as well. The spot's open if you want to."

"Oh yeah, sure, Chadwick. I'll be right there," Johnny stated happily while Chadwick nodded and walked away. Johnny shifted his attention to Eddie. "Well, I'm sure you'll work it out. Hopefully, when you see her, maybe you could ask her everything."

"I want to ask her about everything that happened."

"Well, I wish you luck then," Johnny replied while getting up and leaving to join Chadwick along with Nooshy and Johnny's classmates.

Eddie smiled a bit to himself.

Thanks, I'm going to need it.

He heard heels clicking as he stood up abruptly in the hopes that Porscha was approaching him. However, it's not Porscha approaching him. It's Ms. Suki Lane coming towards him.

"Oh crap," Suki groaned while noticing the theater group already taking off.

"What's wrong?" Eddie asked Suki.

"Sorry, I'm just looking for this Eddie guy. Do you know him?" Suki questioned Eddie.

Eddie blinked for a moment. "Um...I'm Eddie."

"Oh, uh...well...um, Jimmy wants to see you."

"Me?"

"Yeah...he found out about what happened between you and Porscha."
