Ink accepted Pa's invitation, they both walked to Korn's cabin to call her brother and go to the restaurant car. Pa knocked a few times until her brother finally opened the door. Pat remained pretty surprised to meet Ink again. He was speechless for a few seconds...
"So, Ink... you already know my brother... unfortunately... and let me introduce our assistant, Korn"
Korn came closer to Ink and kissed her hand "enchenté". He looked again at Pat and since he didn't say anything he hit him with his elbow.
"Oh right... umm... sorry, I'm really happy to see you again after such a long time Ink..." Pat finally replied.
"Ink will join us for lunch, I suppose that we should go now, it is almost time" Pa added.
Korn was the last one to leave the cabin. He locked the door and looked in the opposite direction of the restaurant car. He noticed someone walking through the long corridor, it was Pran. He was probably going to call his assistant... Korn hesitated a little more.
"Korn? What are you waiting for?" Pat asked since his friend wasn't walking
"Oh sorry, I'm coming" Korn replied and ran to them.
"Wai? Are you ready?" Pran asked knocking on the door of his cabin. Wai didn't open the door.
"I'm almost ready, you should go to the restaurant... you can order if you want, I'll take whatever you choose, ok? Just a few minutes and I'll join you" Wai said behind the door. Pran nodded and said that he accepted. He walked away.
Korn was already at the table with the rest of Pat's entourage, he noticed Pran entering the restaurant alone... it was suspicious.
"Pat, I need to go back to my room for a moment, I'll be back in a minute..." Korn said
"Oh...fine... I guess..." Pat responded confused.
Wai slowly opened the door of his cabin to see if there was anyone in the corridor, he then walked out and tried to open the door of Korn's cabin.
"It is locked... dumbass..." Korn remarked as he came out of a corner. He walked closer to one the window in front of the door and removed the safety lock.
"Do you really think that I would want to get into your filthy room?" Wai spitted. Korn sighed and smirked at him.
"You asshole..." Wai hissed before trying to punch him. Korn moved away and opened the window. Wai was about to fall over the window, his head was already out and his chest was pressing painfully against the frame of the window. Korn was forcing him in that position, he was holding him firmly, to make sure that he couldn't fall outside... thinking that the cold wind was enough to give him a lesson.
"Why shouldn't I let you fall?" Korn shouted.
"I... I..." Wai failed to reply.
Korn pulled him back inside the train and threw him against the wooden panel of the corridor. He closed the window and smirked at him.
"If you want to get in my cabin so bad you should have asked sweetie" Korn said and went back to the restaurant car.
"What happened Korn?" Pat asked
"I thought that my pocket watch was still in my cabin... but I then remembered that I had just put it in a different pocket" he said chuckling.
The waiter had just given the menu to Pran, he was reading it when he saw Wai coming to him. He observed him and sighed.
"Wai, you've spent all this time in your cabin and you didn't find a minute to comb your hair? I must tell you that I'm a little disappointed... especially considering that our competitors are on board..."
"You are right Pran... I'll make sure to be more meticulous next time... I hope you can forgive me this time."
"Fine fine... don't worry. Oh, here's the waiter... We will both take a beef Stroganoff and a glass of Bordeaux." Pran said and handed the menu back to the waiter, who nodded and walked back to the kitchen.
