Chapter 7 What do I say?

*Hayes's POV*
I spent all night thinking about that kiss with MK. It was amazing!! I was thinking about asking her out but I'm still deciding so I'll just go talk to Nash and see what be thinks. "Hey Nashly!"I scream from my room."You summoned?"he says walking in dramatically. "Bro I need to talk to you about something" I said."Fine! Here's your 20 bucks back" he said handing me money."I knew you took it but that's not what I have to talk to you about."I said grabbing the money "Okay so you know MK and I kissed last night right?"he nodded and I continued "Well I was thinking about asking her out and I'm trying to think of the right way to do it" he nodded and started to whisper something in my ear.....this plan if full proof.
*MK's POV*
Oh lord not again I thought "YOUR GONE AND I GOTTA STAY HIGH ALL THE TIME!!"screamed Riley once again with a pan and a spoon."RILEY HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT SHUT UP!!"I screamed while grabbing the spoon out if her hand. "Okay now that you got your lazy butt up we have to start getting ready" she said pushing me in my room. Today was our dance competition and I'm nervous AF. We get our uniforms on and start our hair and makeup. We get done in about an hour and head outside,we get into the car with Bella and ride to the competition. "I'm so nervous!"screeched Bella. We were up next and were all stretching. "And now for the Davidson Day Varsity Dance Squad!"the announcer screams. We run out and smile but I was so surprised. The whole football team was here with signs. I smiled and waived at them. We do our routine and run to the back. They start calling for us, Braxton High School and Beatrice Prep. Our team grab each others hands and hope for the best..."And in first place........DAVIDSON DAY!!" We congratulated the other teams while Bella got the trophy. "That was awesome guys!"said Mitchell hugging me "What are you guys doing here?!" I exclaimed hugging him back, he let go and smiled at Bella "We came to support you guys but it was Hayes's idea". I turned around and looked at Hayes. He was blushing. Then all of a sudden the lights went out. I was about to panic but they turned back on. Everyone was gone. "Hello?" I asked looking around then my favorite song came on, the weight by Shawn Mendes.Riley walked out with a huge sign that said MK will you go out with me? -Hayes and he walked out with a dozen mint green roses(my fave). Everyone soon came out"WELL?!"they screamed. "YES!" I screamed I ran and gave Hayes a hug. I can't believe it!!
*Hayes's POV*
SHE SAID YES!! I still can't believe it. She gave me a huge hug and we left. Since the girls won we decided to take them out for pizza. We got there and made our order. We all sat down at different tables so at mine it was me,MK,Riley,Mitchell,Bella and John. I was sitting next to MK. Riley was sitting next to John and Mitchell was sitting next to Bella. We all sat there and talked about random things. While Riley was telling a story about her and MK at the mall one time in Mississippi I grabbed MK's hand,I could tell she was embarrassed,and she smiled.....boy do I love that smile. When the pizza got to the table,we dug in and devoured it. When we got done we payed and started walking home.I walked her to the door and smiled "I had fun today thanks for coming to the competition!" She said still holding my hand "Me too and anytime. Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow at practice?" I replied. She nodded and turned to the door. I pulled her back and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight beautiful!" I said. She blushed and said goodnight. Today was the best day of my life.
*Next Day*
*MK's POV*
For once I woke up before Riley. Time for sweet revenge.....my way!
I grabbed my air horn and rapped duck tape around it so it would keep going. I ran into her room and started singing
"CAUSE I HAVE THICK SKIN AND AN ELASTIC HEART!!!" I scream from the top of my lungs. I finally get her up and she had one word for me...."RUN!" I ran as fast as I could down the stairs and grabbed my penny board. I zoom out of the house with her on my heals. I turn around for one second and I hit somebody really hard. "O my gosh I'm so sor- Hayes?" "Here!" He screamed as I helped him up. I realized he just had shorts and tennis shoes on. I guess I was staring at his abs cause he asked smirking at me "You like what you see?" "Shut up!" I said quickly "Wait what are you doing here?" I asked. Hayes lives on the other side of town. "Actually to ask you something. So you know how I leave for Magcon in a month right?" I nodded because he leaves after our game that I start back on (which is before Thanksgiving break for 2 weeks) from being in the brace. "Yeah?" "Well they said I could invite 2 friends and I picked you guys!" He said smiling widely. Me and Riley looked at each other and screamed. "AHHH THANKS SO MUCH BABE!!!"I screamed running to him. He picked me up spun me around and we kissed. All the fireworks went off and the zoo was going insane in my stomach, it was amazing! He put me down and smiled"So I'm guessing that's a yes you'll go?" He asked with his hands still on my hips and my hands around his neck "Yes!" I smiled and kissed him. This is going to be AMAZING.
Me and Riley just hung out until I had football practice. Well since I couldn't do anything I had to run laps and work out. After that I was tired AF. So I went home, took a shower and went to sleep.
