Chapter 6 I can't Believe it!

*MK's POV*
"Mary! We gotta go!" I screamed up the stairs. I was wearing my black high waisted shorts with a bright pink crop top with sunglasses on it. I got impatient and eventually left. Today is Friday and I was going to the dance team sleepover tomorrow and I was pumped. I decided to leave and headed to school."Look who made a full recovery!!"shouted Mitchell. "Shut up" I said back. "But seriously are you okay?" Hayes asked. I could see the worry in his eyes. Those big beautiful blu- WAIT!What am I saying I don't like him. Do I? I must have been out of it for a while cause all of a sudden I hear the bell ring. I snap out of it and walk to class with Mitchell. "You know Hayes likes you right?" He asked "No he doesn't!"I said. The bell rang and class started. After what felt like years class finally ended and I headed to dance. "OMG MK! WHAT HAPPENED!!" Bella screamed. Oh yeah I forgot to tell her. I told all that happened and that I'm still able to dance. "You can't scare me like that cause we will not win competition without you!" She said relieved. We stretched and added more moves to our dance and then I had football. I sat on the bench while the guys ran plays and the cheerleaders were practicing behind me. "Hey MK!Come pass with us!" John yelled from the field. I said okay and ran over. I really couldn't catch or throw the ball that good due to my wrist. "You call that a catch!"a familier voice said behind me "It's better than y- OMG RILEY!!!"I gave her a huge hug "What are you doing here?" I asked "Well.....I'm gonna live and go to school with you!"she explained "AHH THIS IS AMAZING!!"I screamed we hugged for a little while longer then someone cleared their throats behind us. We let go and I saw the guys were staring at us.
"So who's the hottie?"Harry asked looking Riley up and down. "A girl way out of your league" I retorted getting pretty mad. I heard some ohhs and dangs from the guys.We decided to leave and go home."Oh wait! I have the sleepover tomorrow! I'll just cancel" I say getting out my phone."That's the other surprise while you were at football and stuff I tried out for dance and cheer so we're both going to the sleepover!" She said smiling widely "You're the best you know that" "Yeah"
When we get home we get home we're both pretty tired so I took a shower and we slept in the living room.
****Next Day****
*MK's POV*
I wake up hearing bad singing and a spoon hitting a pan. "I'M GONNA SWING FROM THE CHANDELIER!!" Sang Riley very much out of tune." SHUT UP RI!"I scream. I finally get up and take the spoon out of her hand "We better start packing for tonight" I said walking up stairs, she nodded and we got ready.
*Skip to Sleepover *
(Still MK's POV)
"Hey Gia!" Me and Riley both say (yeah forgot to say Gia was on the dance team) "Hey come in"she said giving us hugs. I walk in and see the unexpected....the whole football team was here "I get enough of you guys on the field what are you doing here?!" I asked jokingly. "Well the girls invited us to hang out for a while" replied John. I nod and we watch movies for a while. "Hey who wants to play truth or dare?"asked Hayes. We all raise our hands and Mitchell starts "Hayes truth or dare?"Mitchell asks wiggling his eyebrows
"DARE!!" screamed Hayes. "I dare you to kiss MK for more than 10 seconds!"he stated obviously proud of himself. We just looked at each other for a second (he's sitting right next to her tbh) and he starts to lean in and so do I. My stomach was jumping all around like there was a zoo in there. It was amazing. We played a few more rounds and we eventually kicked them out and I walked them to the door. Hayes grabbed my hand and put a piece of paper in it. He walked out and I looked at the paper....it was his number. I put it in my phone and texted him hey he didn't respond so I just went to sleep with one question on my mind.....does he like me and do I like him?
