First day in Encanto

It was eight in the morning when I woke up from the sunlight that blinded me.This time I wasn't woken up by my little siblings or my mother, I could sleep as long as I wanted.

I tried to get up but it was so nice and warm and cozy under my blanket.

But then someone knocked on my door. "Come in!" I said with a voice that was actually well rested.

And of course Camilo enters the room and gave me a provocative look."Look, the princess had a good sleep". he said with a laugh.

"yes I can treat myself too sometimes". I said a little angry.

"okay princesa, but come on slowly, breakfast will be served", he said with a provocative smile.

"stop calling me that, you ... you ... pig". I said to at least try to annoy him. Trying to piss him off with my lame insult.

"Uh, pig, really," he asked with a thoughtful look.

"oh that, that ... I'm sorry for that". I said with a bad conscience.

He started laughing and couldn't help himself anymore."stop trying to annoy me, it won't work anyway".

And then he left the room. Wow how nice, I thought.

Then slowly I got out of bed and put on my dress with the butterflies. I felt beautiful and the atmosphere of encanto added to my self perspective.

Then I left my room and went into the kitchen, where everyone was already up and setting the table."Good morning," chirped Mirabele in a cheerful tone.

"Hey, yes good morning".

It was so different not to have to take care of your siblings and that I even got a good morning,also there were so many people here. It was actually quite nice, but it was also weird. I wasnt used to this get together yet. The mix of various personalities was something to get used to.

Then everyone sat at the dining table and started to eat. I sat next to Mirabelle and Luisa, and of course across from me was Camilo.

Everyone told what they were doing today and where and how they wanted to help.

My parents said that they started looking for jobs today.And I, well I wasn't sure what I wanted to do yet.But then pepa said "Hey y / n why don't you go with Camilo to help keep the kids entertained, I mean some parents have to work and that would be a good start for you".

Of course I said yes, actually I didn't really feel like doing anything with Camilo, but I also didn't want to appear dismissive and angry.

After eating, everyone started clearing the table. When we all did that, Camilo looked at me most of the time and grinned the whole time to annoy me.

After that we all went out and Camilo took me to the children. "So you are happy to spend the whole day, I mean I am also the best and it will be an honor for you"."I wouldn't call it an honor because it's just a nicely meant job that I do for the people who do the work," I said to try to piss him off. But unfortunately that didn't work, he just laughed.

"Well, if you put it that way, it's true princesa, but I wouldn't call it a job for us, I would call it time to spend for us".He said with a dirty laugh.What a fool.

When we got there the kids were screaming for Camilo."HAIII CAMILO" !!. "Hey you little trouble makers".He said, turning into a girl with a bun and blonde hair.

Then a little boy came up to me and pulled on my dress."Who are you "? He asked with a questioning face."Oh hey I'm y / n and I help Camilo to take care of you".I said, trying to sound nice.

Well, these children were also very loud and annoying."Are you Camilo's girlfriend"? Asked a little girl with black hair."Not yet ". Said Camilo with a laugh.

"No way ". I said I was very annoyed because Camilo acted like the little kids."oh but you would look so cute together", said another child."Hmm that will never happen". I said in a stern tone.

"okay okay let's go to the playground and play". Camilo said at last.

When we arrived the children ran off and called for Camilo to turn into them.

I sat on a bench and watched, I have to admit it was pretty funny and sweet how Camilo played with the kids.

Then a little girl came up next to me and sat down on the bench next to me."Do you like Camilo"? She asked. "Uhm not really, I've known him a day and a half now" ."Have you never heard of love at first sight, "she asked."Yes, but still that doesn't mean I like him".I said ."well but if I were you I would make friends with hin quickly or something because so many girls Like him".

She meant very seriously."Why should I care, as I said maybe we will be friends but not more". I said decidedly."We'll See".Said

Camilo who just appeared behind me.
I was so scared that I hopped off the bench. Then everyone went back.

On the way I thought again of the conversation with the ten year old.But no, me and Camilo will just be friends, right?

And then I looked at the clock and it was actually 4 p.m..Camilo and I brought the children back home.And then, yes, then we still had an hour until we had to go back to the casita.

Camilo took me by my arm and pulled me to a house that had been emptied.He climbed the roof with me and we had a very nice view."Soo, do you want us to be friends now"? he asked questioningly."If that's what you want, then we can be friends for your sake," I said.

"Aw thank you that means very much to me princesa ".He said provocatively.

"oh my, you are such a pig". I said with a laugh. He laughed too .

Then we slowly walked back to the casita. When we arrived Bruno greeted us.

And asked if we would help with setting the table and of course we said yes.While setting the table pepa came in and asked "and did you have fun"?

"yes we had a lot of fun". said Camilo with a grin."well that's good".Then, one by one, everyone came to the table and we all started to eat. The others started talking about their day .And you could really tell that my sister really liked Antonio.After dinner my mom came to me and said "my angel, I hope you like it here and well tomorrow I will continue looking for a job".

"Take your time mom" I said and went to my room.The day was actually quite okay. Well except that there is Camilo but he's kinda cute.Wait what did I think, no no.He's just a friend and I haven't known him for so long so no!Then it got really late and I went to bed.
