It was time. Heimdall gave the word and I jumped into action, calling the team and throwing my suit on. I rushed Freya to Pepper, giving her the tightest hug and kissing her head before running out to the helipad. I was the last one there and the second I stepped next to everyone the rainbow lights engulfed us. We arrived in Asgard a minute later and it looked like we were brought there the same time that Thor, Loki and the Einherjar were brought as well. Loki and I made eye contact, but it only lasted a minute before there was a loud explosion in the background.

Everyone made their way across the rainbow bridge as fast as they could. It was complete chaos and there was no time to think, only time to get right to it. I stuck close to Tony and Steve for the most part.

I had no clue who/what the enemy was, but it was easy to tell them apart because they didn't look human. They looked similar to what I thought elves would look like, but they had pure white faces and black eyes. I did my best to stay on the outskirts of the battle and not throw myself into the middle.

I took down one of the elves when something swept under my feet and knocked me to the ground. I looked up to see a dagger being held above my chest and quickly put my arms up to try and defend myself. I didn't have much time to think about it when Mjolnir flew towards the elf and knocked him far away from me. I turned around to see Thor standing next to me, offering me a hand.

"Sister! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, Thor, thanks" I then followed Thor back towards the action.

"I have to apologize for my absence. I had no intention of not returning, I need you to know that."

"I understand, Heimdall gave me a very quick run down. I do expect answers if we make it out of here though!"

Thor boomed with laughter "You mean WHEN we make it out of here. I have no doubts that we will be victorious now that the mighty Avengers are here to help!" He didn't look up when someone charged at him, he just flung Mjolnir in their direction while giving me a smile.

I rolled my eyes and went back to fighting.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a young boy curled into a ball in a small passageway. He looked so small and so scared. I was about to go over to him when his eyes went wide and he suddenly jumped up and screamed "PAPA!"

I spun around to see what he was looking at and saw Loki with a knife in his side. This seemed to just anger Loki though because he hurled a ball of magic at the elf, knocking him on his back. Loki was quick to throw his daggers right into the elf's heart. I was stunned by what I had just seen, but more stunned that a small boy was calling him Papa? I had so many questions, but no time to ask any of them.

I ran to the boy and carried him back towards the passageway. He looked terrified, but didn't try to fight me. I looked him over to make sure he had no injuries.

I put my hands on his shoulders "I need you to stay here and stay hidden. It's not safe out there right now. I promise that I will come back for you when this is all over. Can you promise me that you'll stay here?"

The boy looked around and then looked up at me "Yes, I promise"

I smiled "Ok, good. I'll be back."

I ran back into the battle, not thinking too much that I was killing people. I would probably break down and there was no time for any of that. I saw that Loki was still fighting so I knew he couldn't be too badly injured. I found Steve just as someone threw a knife in his direction. I held my hand out and yelled "STEVE! DUCK!"

Before Steve could register that I had spoken, a burst of gold magic flew out of my hand and froze the knife in place. Steve looked at it with wide eyes and then back to me before stepping out of the way. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I looked at the elf that had thrown it and motioned my hand back towards him and the knife followed my command, plunging into his chest. I gave Steve a shrug and ran to his side.
