Hello again beautiful readers!!!

Here I am with the 2nd to last chapter of Polar Opposites (not including the Epilogue that I'm gonna do after the next chapter!) I'm really surprised that I got this done so quickly since I had just posted Chapter 18 3 days ago!

WOW!!!

It's been a really long time since I've updated this quickly!

Anyway, I really, really hope you guys enjoy this chapter because I AM VERY PROUD of how it came out!!!

Let me know in the comments on what you think of it and I will see you all soon with the final chapter of Polar Opposites Book 3: Fire!!!

Enjoy!!!!!

As Zuko, Katara and I fly on Appa towards the Fire Nation, the comet starts making its way across the sky. At the sight of it I can't help but struggle to keep my thoughts positive. Nothing like going into battle with a crazy 14 year old girl with enhanced firebending skills magnified by a lot. I don't know who's crazier, Azula or us, because at this point, it's really hard to tell.

I shake my head, clearing thoughts away, not really wanting to worry about that right now. I really need to focus on the upcoming battle the 3 of us will have against Azula.

I turn to Zuku and Katara who are both sitting on Appa's head while I sit in the saddle. I see that Zuko has a worried and somewhat anxious expression on his face. I'm about to reassure him that we will beat Azula and Aang will beat Ozai, but it seems I'm not the only one who notices his expression.

"Zuko, don't worry. We can take Azula." Katara says to him.

"I'm not worried about her. I'm worried about Aang." Zuko answers. "What if he doesn't have the guts to take out my father? What if he loses?"

He does have a point... Before Aang disappeared Aang was adament that he wasn't comfortable with taking the Fire Lord's life. What if he doesn't deliver the final blow and he doesn't make it...?

"Aang won't lose. He's gonna come back." Katara responds somewhat confidently.

She looks forward with narrowed eyes before continuing. "He has to."

She's right. If we want this war to finally end, Aang has to come back and defeat Ozai once and for all, because if he doesn't... Well..., I really don't want to think about that...

We finally get to the Palace City, and it seems that we just got here just in time because down below, in the Coronation Plaza, Azula is just about to be crowned Fire Lord. As I look down at the scene below, I can tell, even from here, that Azula seems a bit off. Her posture doesn't look like her usual straight and confident posture and her hair is in a messy loose bun.

Looks like she's showing her crazy, even more so than before.

"By decree of Phoenix King Ozai, I now crown you Fire Lord..." I hear the Fire Sage that's about to crown Azula say before he trails off as he spots us on Appa.

Azula turns her head to face him. "What are you waiting for?" she asks him, somewhat annoyed. "Do it!"

Even her voice seems off, it isn't as calm, cold and even as it usually was. Seems like Azula's crazy side has finally caught up to her.

Appa lets out a loud growl, causing Azula to turn back around to see Appa landing in the plaza courtyard.

Zuko stands up from his spot on Appa's head. "Sorry, but you're not gonna become Fire Lord today."
