Upside down, your legs on the cold rusty pole were your only lifesaver. Alone in this deserted kingdom you occupied yourself the way you could. In the runes of what once was Germa kingdom. Fallen and rejected princess and firstborn of a failed marriage, your reflection was repulsive. You were a mind controller and teleporter. Vinsmoke Judge saw too big and lost control over his creations because that's all you are : a mere creation. Helen, your mother and himself agreed upon letting you go when they realized they would never have any power over you. Good grief, one of the two cruel individuals died a painful death. Sending an unwanted child to a place where no one goes, what great parenting...Little did they know that you were as stubborn as them reunited and you would have loved to show them.

You whined as you started feeling dizzy and swung your body up. Once set, you jumped down the pole. Even with feet down on earth, the sight was nevertheless million worthy. Eternal sunsets, singing birds and the loving sound of wind appeased you. The sight of the ocean made you curious. What is the nearest place? Where do pirates go? What kind of treasure is the world hiding? A cooing seagull brought you back to your lonely and repetitive reality and then you saw something surprising : a boat coming your way. A first in over 20 years!

Your usually tired (e/c) eyes sparkled like a toddler who just saw something new. "A boat!" You started running and jumping in the abandoned hall where nature regained his rights. You immediately calmed down as you stumbled on a root. "Ouch."

Anxiety invaded you the more the ship got closer. Your heart threatened to explode when you noticed how massive the said boat was. However, your excitation quickly got replaced by fear. You hid in the shadows when you saw the tall silhouette approach.

"Vinsmoke!" he called out the moment he entered the ruins. How does he know my name? "Who are you?" you dared to ask.

"I'm Charlotte Katakuri and I'm here to gather information about your family secrets."

"Family secrets...?" you tittered. "My own existence is one!"

"I'm talking about the soldier's creation formula." he precised.

"I can do so much better than telling you about it. I can show it to you but before that...What's your biggest embarrassment?"

"I'm a monster." he responded under the influence of your mind control.

You got out of the shadows to reveal your torn-apart face. "That makes two of us. Bring me with you. Allow me to leave this nightmare."

He grabbed your tiny hand and sighed. "You must know there is no going back."

"I'll assume the responsibility, self-declared monster." you smiled.

And you stood up to your words. You showed him and you took your oh-so-sweet revenge.

I've been theorizing about some lost Vinsmoke family member. I mean Judge made it happen on the first try? Talented scientist or not, tests always fail at the beginning. I did dig it in a macabre way. It's the path I chose and this is why I added the "❗️" mark that I always use when I judge that a one-shot is not lovey-dovey but bittersweet or just more mature content.

It was terribly short. I'm so sorry Space_Walrus23. I wanted to make this part more about vengeance than love. I'd understand if you're disappointed.
