CHAPTER 04

MOV:

I woke up early. Today I have to make a decision about this project. I had some breakfast in my room and called Amelia to check on the kids they were doing okay. I spent my whole morning in the room watching TV. It's time to go to the hospital. I got ready and called a cab. Now I'm in the hospital waiting for Dr. Hamilton to come.

There he is "hello Dr.Grey. How is your trip so far?" He asked.

"It's good, beside the decision making"I replied sincerely.

"So as it is settled, I want to go to an important topic. So have you decided what your answer is? "he said.

I know what I'm going to say, but this man is very arrogant. He really knows how to get his things.
"Yes I decided" I replied, keeping a straight face.

"I hope you make the right decision Dr.Grey. It will benefit all of us, you know". He mentioned.
I know what he meant by 'benefit' it's actually for his own to cure his own diagnosis very selfish for someone to invest that much money to cure themselves. But I know if we succeed, it will help a lot of people.
"Yes, I will do the research, but I've some conditions"I said.
He is looking at me like I said some jokes but he didn't take long to answer
"Okay say your terms Dr.Grey" There it is the aggogant man who wants to negotiate. I think he is really desperate for this cure.

"So first of all, I can't work here daily. I have my family in Seattle and I can't move here, so I can only come down here only for the weekend" I pronounced.
He is staring at me. There is no emotion on his face. He nodded.

"Okay, it will slow down the project, but it will work because I've already picked a good team of doctors " he mentioned.

"About that, I want to choose my own team for my project," I said.

"Dr.Grey I understand you want your own team, but these doctors are the best they worked in various inventory projects before and they are very successful and they are best at their job, so I can't approve this demand of you" he said.

I tried to reply but he spoke up again "but you can add a few doctors of your if you want" he mentioned.

"Okay, then it settled". I said and we shook our hands in our agreement.

"See you next weekend, then Dr.Grey and we will discuss the project next weekend in detail "he said.

"Yes, have a nice evening Dr.Hamilton." I mentioned and left the hospital. I went to the hotel to collect my luggage and went to the airport to catch my flight.

NOV:

I saw her again, but before I could catch her to ask about her decision, she was gone. I don't know what is going on in her mind, but I feel a deep connection with her. She also saved me a few years ago. We can't date that time because these crappy rules about doctors and patients can't date. But I think she was not ready at that time, but maybe this time she will be ready and we can start something new and wonderful. She is a very good person. Her heart is very pure. I think I'm feeling strongly for her. I just hope she calls me.
