Kai sat back, sighing. Her posture sucked when she drew. She ripped out the page from her sketchbook, and tapped Momo. Her breath got caught in her throat, but she turned anyways. "Here." Kai said monotonusly. Momo, still shaking, took the folded paper from her grasp, only to find a nicely drawn picture of herself. "O-oh! T-Thank you! I-I didn't know you liked to draw..." Kai looked at her. "Well, yeah, I'm a person. I have hobbies too, y'know." Kai said. Momo nodded. "Like what? I-I mean, other than drawing, of course..." Kai put a finger up to her chin in thought. "Erm, let's see...I like to sleep, if that counts, cooking is nice, reading is cool too-" "OH! You like to read too?!" Momo said with sparkles in her eyes. Kai nodded. Momo continued, "What genre? My favorites are encyclopedias, but I'll read anything!" Kai smiled. "I really like fantasy books. Not princess books, just like, things that could only happen in your wildest fantasies? I think I mean fiction, hah..." Momo nodded entheusiastically. "Fiction is nice! Do you have a favorite?" Kai nodded. "Yep! Wait, I brought it with me, I'll find it and show it to ya." Her accent slipped through. Momo looked over her shoulder, and she saw a bunch of 'illegal' items. A large fluffy blanket, her phone, headphones, and a bunch of snacks and drinks, as well as meals packed in brown paper baggies. A couple items in her bag could've been excused, such as the countless sketchbooks and art supplies, and possibly her tablet, as Momo knew there was some art apps. Kai did some more digging, and Momo could see the small part of her face light up. "Found it!" She exclaimed happily. She handed Momo a sea green book, covered in painted scales and a big orange eye was centered on the middle. Above the eye, the word 'Malamander' was printed in a gold, curvy font.* "The book is so good, It's about these two twelve year olds named Violet Parma an' Hubert Lemon, an' it's so amazing, you should really read it, I'm dying to talk about it with someone!" Kai ranted giddily. Momo nodded, and began flipping through it. She then realized something. "Kai, this book is in English." Kai put her hand over her mouth. "Oops. Sorry, I forgot I was in Japan." Momo looked confused, so Kai began explaining. "I'm from the states, I can only read and speak English. Never learned Japanese." Momo nodded. "Well, I understand about half of that. I'm just confused on that last part, you're speaking Japanese pretty fluently." That's when Kai snapped her fingers with a smirk plastered on her face. "That's the thing! I'm not." Momo looked confused. Kai began explaining again. "Well, y'see, we're both under influence of a sub ability of mine. It's called..."

Auto Translate

Thing-a-majig: Ability

How does it work?: Another sub ability to Imagination, that Kai created when she was little. This sub ability allows the language barrier to be broken so people can comunicate better! Both parties must be influenced by Auto Translate. Auto Translate is a little difficult to explain, so I'll try to use an example for this one.

Momo is speaking Japanese, while Kai is speaking English. They both don't understand what the other is saying, so Kai imagines a switch on her body. She flicks the imaginary switch to on. Auto Translate has been activated. Auto translate, if visualised, would be like a field of particles. Some of these particles cling to Kai, while some cling to Momo. Now Momo has Auto Translate, and can flick the imaginanary switch on and off, understand foreign languages, and further spread Auto Translate to her peers.
