Ty's P.O.V

"Yes, sorry sir" I reply. Gee, first day in a new school, and already I'm in trouble. This is not a way to start off a new school year.

"Just don't let it happen again," he replies, with a smile "I am Mr. Davies, and your name is...?"

"Ty" I reply

"Tell us a little bit about yourself, Ty James"

Oh boy, yet another introduction nobody really wants to hear, I think to myself. "What would you like to know?" I finally say out loud.

A girl right in the front stands up, and asks,"Where are you from?"

"My mother," I say with a grin, and she sits back down. There are chuckles from the class.

"Okay, that's enough everyone," Mr. Davies scolds. "Have a seat right here." He points to a seat next to a girl who has straight brown hair that covers most of her face. I take  a seat next to her and she looks up for a brief second, just enough to for me to see her big, piercing brown eyes, and perfect skin.  'Wow she is pretty' I  think to myself. I look down to her arms and she tugs at her long selves.

"Mr James, eyes forward please" Mr Davies said and I look to the front where Mr. Davies is. I did not realizing I was staring at her.

"Sorry, I was..." I paused trying to find an excuse.

"I don't care, just try to pay attention, okay?" He smiles.

"Yes, sir," I reply.

"Now, back to Shakespeare. It has been said that William Shakespeare..." I tune him out and go back to thoughts about the girl beside me. Whats with her long sleeves? More importantly, what's her name? I decide to ask her name, but the girl in front of me starts talking.

"Hey, I'm Jillian," she says in a sort of whisper

"Ty" I say, extending my hand, but she doesn't take it.

"So, like," she continues whispering, "how long have you been here?"

"How long on this planet, or how long in this town," I ask sarcastically.

"Like, how long in this town?" She says probably not getting my joke.

"Since Saturday," I reply.

"Like, cool" she finishes and turns around.

"Yeah," I have a stupid look on my face, I can feel it. I go back to thoughts about the girl.
