Samara's P.O.V
"Because I'm gay," Ty says.
"You're what!?" I ask in extreme fear.
"I'm gay," Ty repeats again. The words run ramped through my mind. I get off of him as quickly as possible. Even faster than I thought I could move. He sits up bright eyed like nothing he just said had any meaning.
"Oh my god!" I say as the words finally start to sink in. "You're gay!" He gives a slight chuckle "I just kissed a gay guy! There's nothing wrong with being gay and I can't say I didn't suspect it, I mean you always dress so nicely, and you don't have any interest in Jillian Tessie!" I take a short breath "who wouldn't be interested in Jillian Tessie? Only a gay guy!" He snorts again. "What's so funny?" I ask, a little unnerved.
"You believe me." He laughs.
"What do you mean 'you believe me'?" I question.
''You believe that I'm gay." He laughs and lays back down nonchalantly.
"Wait, you aren't?"
"No, and I'm a little hurt that you said all those things." He says clutching his chest. "I have a sense of fashion." He comments in a gay voice. I walk over and punch him in the arm.
"What the fuck?" I shout.
''First off, ouch! Second I really can't kiss you. I want to, but I can't.''
''Why not?'' I'm disappointed and pissed at this moment.
'' it's not in my best interest, to become involved with anyone.'' He explains.
"Oh,'' I say dropping the subject.
His mom calls us for dinner minutes later. I sit at the table feeling extremely awkward.
''So, Ty,'' his mom starts a conversation. ''how's your head today?''
''Fine,'' he shoots her a look. It's the same look that he gave her when we first showed up. I pretended not to see it.
''No headaches?'' She persists.
''I said I'm fine.'' Ty answers angrily.
