Samara's P.O.V chapter
I walk through my door on Sunday night, and I don't think anybody is home. That's a good thing. I don't want anyone to see me, because I'm so tired and sad.
"Where the hell, were you?" Georgia asks from the kitchen as she walks into the living room, where I am standing looking broken, or more broken then usual. I debate whether, or not to tell her, but before I can decide, she asks, "Are you okay?"
I instantly start crying and shake my head. "No, I'm not."
"Is this about the party? I heard what that bitch, Jillian, did." She says raising her nose like she has smelt something bad, and rolling her eyes.
"Oh," is all I can get out.
"Yeah, I kicked her off the squad. Not because of you though, she slept with Nathan." And I keep crying. "Don't worry about it, this will die down, and people will go back to ignoring you."
"Its not that" I say sobbing
"Then what is it?" She has never taken any interest in my life, so I am hesitant to tell her everything. Is it even my information to tell?
"Well?" Georgia says crossing her arms, and waiting for me to tell her.
I stop crying, and say,"Ty has a brain tumour, and he's going to die, and I don't want to go through this alone, so if you can stop being a bitch for five seconds, and be my big sister, it would be greatly appreciated." I say in one big breath.
Georgia uncrosses her arms, and stares at me with a, 'did you really just say that?' look on her face, before walking closer, and hugging me. I feel so awkward having her this close to me, but I hug her back. We stand in our living room for awhile, before she takes my hand, and leads me to her room. We talk about my issues almost all of the night.
"Thanks," I say walking to her door.
"Five seconds is up, now, get out of my room!" I smile, and she smiles back at me. "Samara,"she says in voice I have never heard before from her. I stop walking and turn around, "Even the worst storms gotta end."
I nod slowly, and go to bed.
The next morning, Ty picks me up from school. First thing I do when I get into the car, is ask if he is okay. That's what the doctor said to do, but he always replies with, " yeah," so I don't know if he is telling the truth.
We walk through the doors hand in hand, and I can see everyone looking at me.They whisper to one another, and some laugh. We walk to my locker, and Ty kisses me quickly before he leaves to drop off his books. I put away my books.
"Hey," I hear an unfamiliar voice. The locker beside mine has always been empty, except for now. Now it is occupied by a girl that I have never seen. " I'm Kalise, but you can call me Kali." She says extending her hand perkily. She's a tall, brunette with blonde highlights. She has a very tiny waist, with big hazel eyes and perfectly white teeth. Freckles outline her eyes making them pop. She's actually quite beautiful.
"Samara," I say quietly, "your new?" I say grabbing my math book, and closing my locker. I usually stare at the floor, but something is making me want to look up.
"Yes, I am, and I could really use someone to show me around. Nobody here has noticed me, but there's boys so I don't care!" She says jumping up and down and clapping. Suddenly she stops and goes serious,"I use to go to and all girls school, but I got expelled." She says nodding her head quickly.
"For what?" I say as she grabs her math book, and we walk together.
"Sneaking out, and going to the all boys school down the road, not a big deal"
