Keisuke came back the next day. Apparently Kazutora took the whole guilt upon his shoulder so Keisuke didn't have to go to the juvenile center. This was actually the first time you heard the whole story. You didn't talk to Keisuke for several days, not only because you couldn't process that they actually killed Shinichiro even if it was an accident, but you were also busy preparing Manjiro's present and comforting the Sano family. You decided to wait some days and then visit Manjiro and his family because they surely needed some time alone at first. On your way there you walked past Shinichiro's shop which was once filled with life and happiness but is now only an empty shell of what it used to be.
You didn't want to arrive with empty hands so you went into a shop and bought things they might like. Also buying Manjiro Dorayaki in hopes of being able to lift his mood.
Arriving at their house you suddenly got really nervous. You didn't know if they even want to see you. What if they blame it on you because you could have stopped Keisuke as his older brother or Kazutora as his close friend but before your thoughts could spiral down even further Manjiro opened the door, "You have been standing here for quite some time already." He smiled at you. But you knew he was just trying to keep his strong and invincible façade in order not to worry anyone. As soon as those words left his lips you bowed at 90 degree angle to show how serious and sorry you were. "I'm deeply sorry for what happened and you have my condolences. I know I'm in no position to be asking this of you but please forgive Keisuke and Kazutora. They just wanted to make you happy but it escalated completely." You waited in silence for what felt like eternity until Manjiro began to speak again, "I have already forgiven Keisuke. Now stop bowing and come on in. I see you have brought something with you." You let it slide that he only mentioned Keisuke as it was probably too early to forgive Kazutora as he was the main perpetrator. "There is still one thing I wanted to say." you grabbed Manjiro's hand to stop him from going in. He looked at you expectantly. "You don't have to keep the invincible façade. I know it must have shook you completely but we are all here for you, not only me but I'm sure you can also talk with Ken, Takashi or even Pah about it. It still might be hard now but you have to talk about it with Keisuke at some point. You don't have to you hide your weaknesses. That's what friends are for, to listen to your problems and balancing each other's weaknesses." You smiled at him. His expression didn't change but you felt the shaking of his hand so you pulled him into a hug. He immediately clung onto you tightly, "Thank you, [Mn]. I really appreciate and enjoy your company. Now come on in already!" He dragged you to into the house and towards his room but before he could drag you into his room you went to his grandfather and Emma to apologise to them as well.
Manjiro told you that he got the CB250T from his brother. You found the whole situation macabre but you just spent the rest of the day playing and joking around in order to take Manjiro's mind off of Shinichiro and lift his mood. Manjiro offered that you could stay the night but you had to decline because tomorrow is already his birthday and you still had to talk to your brother and you don't want the first talk after days be at Manjiro's birthday party. So you left with the promise of staying overnight tomorrow. You also suggest that all of Toman could stay overnight. He seemed rather happy at the idea so you left to go home.
On your way home you were thinking how you were going to talk to Keisuke but came to no conclusion when you finally arrived home. 'Guess I have to speak spontaneously.' you thought to yourself. You went into your and Keisuke's shared bedroom and wondered how you accomplished to avoid him for so many days. When you entered the room, Keisuke was laying on his bed and staring at the ceiling. At your arrival he sprung up, "I'm sorry!" you both said in unison. There was an awkward silence so you offered him to talk first, "You first." "I'm so sorry! I totally messed up. I don't know what I should do now. Mikey and you both hate me and the others don't want to be involved in this." Kei began to cry. You went to his bed to comfort him, "I'm sorry if it seemed like I hate you. I could never hate you, you are my lil bro I need to protect. I know you didn't want it to escalate like that but I just needed some time alone to think about it and process it. Also Manjiro already told me that he forgives you. I'm sure he will tell you tomorrow in person." "Are you sure he wants me to be there?" Kei sniffled. "Yeah it's going to be a huge birthday party and we all are going to stay the night over so don't worry too much. Everything will be sorted out." you smiled at Kei to reassure him. "Can you sleep with me in my bed today?" Kei asked timidly. "Sure! Let me just write in my diary real quick and then I will join you." you quickly went to your desk and began to write in your diary.
At the end of the day both you and Kei slept in each other's arms. It was the first night since the incident that you both slept peacefully again.

Manjiro seems to be alright again. Kei and I sorted things out. I'm thinking about visiting Kazutora. Kei surely wants to visit him too.
