Some weeks passed in which nothing special happened. You got the job at the café but you were mostly working on the weekends because you still had to go to school.

The training was harder than you expected as you weren't used to it anymore but it was a great opportunity to clear your mind. Senju and you became rather close over the time as you were often spending time together even outside of training. It became a habit that she dragged you around various shops in the mall and asked for your opinion on certain clothes.

During this time Inui became your emotional support and helped you to quit your bad habits and to cope with the whole situation in general, lifting your mood enormously. You were glad that you weren't deeply involved with drugs as it would have been much harder to stop with it. You were glad that Inui arrived just in time to drag you out of this hole. You were just so glad that you weren't alone, not only Inui is at your side but even Toman although you distanced yourself from them. You knew that they would gladly accept you with open arms again, like they did with Keisuke. But every time you thought about your friends in Toman, your heart began to ache.

You weren't able to spend much time with Inui as he was busy with his gang activities. But when he wasn't busy, you liked to just enjoy each others company and sometimes staying the night over at your or his place. Even though you wake up rather early, Inui was always already up when you entered the living room, dreamily looking outside the window and watching the snow fall.

In those days you haven't heard of Koko at all and so you stopped wearing the earring that he gave you all these years ago. It saddened you because the first few days you thought he was going to apologise, saying that it was the alcohol and then you would forgive him, also apologising for overreacting. But the longer you waited the clearer it got that this wasn't going to happen.

But you also felt like a hypocrite because you were doing something similar to Chifuyu without his consent. These days you felt as if every action you made was a mistake. You contemplate every possible outcome of even the smallest decision and you still feel like you are making the wrong choice. You try to not let it get to your head but there is a quiet voice in the back of your head telling you that you are a failure. It's something you can't get out of your head. But spending time with Inui or Senju made you forget about it for a short time.

You were currently sitting in a tattoo studio getting your first tattoo. At first you wanted something big and cool-looking but you decided to just get a "K" tattooed on your wrist instead. After it was finished you headed home, walking past a bowling alley. Right at this moment you saw Takemichi and Hakkai, who had his arm wrapped around Takemichi's shoulders, walking out and acting as if they were best friends. A short distance behind them, Hina and Yuzuha were immersed in a conversation. Takemichi noticed you almost immediately so you just waved and smiled at him awkwardly. It still didn't feel like Takemichi was a real member of Toman. He already did so much for Toman and Manjiro but it just feels like he is out of place.
