Chapter 15 - Question and Answer

Since Yibo saw no reason not to sign the contracts, he signed them while he and Zhan were still in Hai Kuan's office. Yibo then immediately called his mother's lawyer and told him that he would like to hand over the signed contracts to him. Only half an hour later, the lawyer came to Hai Kuan's office and took their contracts.

Lawyer Choi explained to the two once again that now that the contracts are signed, they must not interfere in anything that happens between their parents and then disappeared as quickly as he had come. He only mentioned that their money would be in their accounts within the next few days. And he gave them the well-meant advice to transfer this money somewhere to a safe account. And Yibo knew already exactly where he would transfer his money!

Afterwards the two went together with Hai Kuan to a restaurant for lunch. The two brothers puzzled there over it, what their mother could intend next. But they just couldn't figure it out. Because suddenly their alcoholic mother seemed to be a stranger to them. At least, the two brothers didn't know her like that.

Zhan couldn't say much about it because he doesn't know Yibo's mother. And actually, he doesn't know Yibo's father either. After all, he had only seen him once at the job interview and they only spoke for a few minutes. And those few minutes are not enough for Zhan to form an opinion about this man.

Of course, Zhan still had his impression of him because of what he heard from Yibo. But he had no right to make negative comments about him. Even if he would have liked to. But the same was true for Yibo's mother.

For Zhan, this chaos in the family was just confusing. And somehow he had the feeling that the father of the two brothers, would also soon try to drag the two of them into the matter in some way. After all, he had already done it once to get his wife out of the business.

After having lunch together with Hai Kuan, Zhan and Yibo went back to Yibo's apartment, where they actually wanted to go back to sleep. After all, they only had a short night after the call from Yibo's mother and the early appearance of the lawyer. And besides, they both had vacation and wanted to use it to rest properly before they had to go back to work next Monday.

But sleep was out of the question when one of the neighbors, according to their feelings, drilled about 100 holes in the wall with his hammer drill, not only keeping Zhan and Yibo from sleeping, but also getting on their nerves. Yibo would have loved to go to his neighbor and give him a piece of his mind. But what right did he have to do that?

Finally, they preferred to escape the noise and leave the apartment again. But they did not really know where to go. It was too cold and wet for them to go to the park. In the cinema ran at this time only children's movies. They had just been shopping. And actually they were much too tired to have any desire for any activities outside the apartment.

But then they still found, rather by chance, something that could be fun for them. A visit to the swimming pool. However, they had to go shopping first. Because without swimming trunks, shoes for the pool, bath towels, shower gel and a bathing cap, they could not go swimming.

Fortunately, however, there is a sports store right near the public pool, where they got everything they needed. As soon as they had bought everything, they went on to the swimming pool. And when the two were in the locker room, they got a little shy.
